Well, as long as they don't sell the tapes or make profits out of that video, I don't think it would really matter to Square. I mean, Koreans musician don't release Video Clips DVD, right? Just airplay their videos on TV.

The scary thing is the song is growing on me slowly.

That video was insanely accurate.. I can't believe they shot that live action! It was really nice haha. So what.. They ripped off Final Fantasy VII, but they did it accurately enough that it's interesting to see the scene done with actual people.

I hate threads like this. Wow. Someone made a video "SIMILAR" To FFVII. and believe me, i've seen it millions of times. Why can't you people just stop being immature for 5 MINUTES and view the world differently for once?! >_<

Ex: Jolin DOESN'T COPY AYU> D:

Sometimes, you should just ignore threads that you don't like but I respect your decision of expressing your opinion. I posted this video for the fact that people who bothered to click and view this thread has shown interest in the topic. I supposed you were one of them too that's why you bothered to even post a reply to this thread.

Please don't feel offended cause I don't mean it as an offence. Thank you.

i thought the video was awesome, although i wish the bad guy was more hot......tifa was gorgeous

Jayee19 1st April 2007 10:51 PM

Wow, I actually love the video. It's surprisingly well executed. And Ivy makes a pretty awesome Tifa. The song is kind of stuck-in-your-head-for-the-rest-of-your-miserable-day catchy. It's hilarious. So call me an impressed FF7 fan.

Advent Children sucked hardcore anyway.... *runs out of thread quickly*

You better run! *gathers a mob* XD Everyone knows that movie was all about Cloud and his emo prettiness anyway.

Huaka 2nd April 2007 03:49 AM

I thought that song sucked ****, and the Ivy person who cosplayed as Tifa was butt ugly.

I just thought the fighting scenes in Advent Children were awesome. I liked seeing Cloud's and the others limit breaks in full cg glory.

Rurutia 2nd April 2007 09:00 AM

i don't think she was ugly, and the song wasn't thaaaaaat bad......

too bad cloud the hottie wasn't able to make an appearance, i wonder who they would've chosen for him

HybridTheory 5th April 2007 12:15 AM

I thought it was a pretty good rip off until the synchronized dancers popped up :laugh

A local court Friday banned a music video by popular female singer Ivy from being broadcast on television, ruling in favor of a Japanese film company that claimed the clip plagiarized scenes from one of its animated films.

The decision comes as an embarrassment to Ivy who had been enjoying the success of her chart-topping single, ``Temptation Sonata,’’ the first song to be released from her second album.

In laying down the broadcast ban on the music video of ``Temptation Sonata,’’ the Seoul Central District Court ruled that a significant part of the clip was similar to scenes from ``Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children,’’ an animated movie created by Japan’s Square-Enix.

``Other than the parts where the singer is dancing with dancers, most of the clip is noticeably similar to scenes from the film Final Fantasy: VII Advent Children,’’ the court said, adding that both pieces share similarities in the appearance of characters, costumes, plot, background and editing.

Sorry but I don't really like it and the video, ... it's not my cup of tea xD^^

panda87 6th April 2007 07:48 PM

korean stars are overrated... *siiiiiiiiiiigh* and even if it's a cosplay, it's horrible. the real animated characters don't look that pathetic.

what a shame.

Thanks for sharing the article. =)

miniayumi 7th April 2007 09:32 AM

I'm not suprised. Koreans always copy Japanese stuff. From food, to music, even talking style. (no offense)

But... I really want to watch Advent Children!!!

jpopfan 8th April 2007 07:15 AM

i didnt really care for the song. The video was interesting to me...i havent even fully watched Advent Children but i have seen that scene. The video was oki but i didnt care for the parts when the dancers appeared..
