I don't know about J-pop (What with the different licensing system) but HMV have ordered in cd's from Russia for me before now (In those scary days before I had a credit card to shop online :tired)

Actually that's something I've never done! Asking instores if they can order J-Cd's. They must be able to. I know amazon UK has sifow CD's, the Ayu remix albums and J-Utada via amazon itself.
