i think if ayu really is thinking this.. she needs to remember that she is a big influence to alot of girls there... i dont think shed be much of a role model by saying "get naked to be popular" knwo what i mean... Ayus smart she wont do it... :: hopes to god that im right :unsure ::

If her photos in the book are tasteful (Like covering her private parts with something) then it's ok....But if she's showing everything then I'm not gonna like it.

Whether this is true or not, remember... Ayu's old enough to decide what she can and can't do, so regardless of what she'd do with such an opportunity as this is up to her. Perhaps this may boost sales, or may even cause them to plummet, but in the end, all we can do is watch from afar and see how things go. If it's like how Deli described Hitomi, then maybe it may be just the edge that Ayu's been looking for.

Just have to wait around and see. It doesn't really bother me if Ayu wants to pose nude. It's her life and all but I do think it's sad if she is only going to do it to gain new fans.

yep... I see nothing wrong with what Ayu wants to do if she does decide to pose nude... there's nothing wrong with nudity. It's just how you, as the individual, perceive it as. If it seems bad to you, then of course this book will look bad, but if you actually accept it, you'll see that Ayu could be doing far worse things, like taking drugs or becoming a stripper...

If its LOVEppears/RAINBOW style thats OK. Anything more would be a bit of a risk for Ayu, and nude at this level not everyone would find it 'tasteful'. I doubt Ayu will go over the LOVEppears/RAINBOW barrier. Its probably just LOVEppears/RAINBOW style but who knows, it could be a little bit more?

I don't really mind if she does do a tasteful nude photobook. But no PLAYBOY-type though please. :P

I think a long time ago in japan (perhaps as early as the 1990s), I thought nudity was quite the rarity in Japan, so it wasn't til recently that it's become more accepted. So although here in America, people like Christina have pretty much shattered the barrier on what's acceptable or not, I don't think that a photo album like that here would be much of concern, but perhaps in japan, older people may consider it bad taste.

Who cares? She'll do what she wants, when she wants, and your opinion won't change it. So don't make a big deal about it. :D

People are giving their opinions on the situation. They are allowed to do that. No one is actually thinking they can change Ayu's mind if in fact she's done this. I don't even see anyone flipping out (like I expected, lol).

Actually, she herself stated that she's a pawn of the entertainment business. She has to do what make the people happy.

The people's opinion in the end really does matter. If they don't like it, failure and a drop in popularity as with sales too. If they do like it, success and a rise in popularity as with sales too. Yet, this could be very risky on her part, and cause even more stress and tiredness.

I love Ayumi for her public self and her music. In my opinion I would be disappointed as a fan to see her strip to nothing to gain more attention. Yes, its her life. Yes, there's nothing we can do. I just don't think its something to be proud of really. That's my personal opinion. The human body is beautiful, but to a degree shouldn't necessarily be exposed to everyone. It's your "temple" so to speak and you're letting everyone just look at it. I would feel kinda violated if I did it... but that's my opinion...

Either way I'll more than likely still love Ayu if it does or doesn't happen
