Haha, yeah at times it can! XD Especially during the high notes....sometimes it can be rather unpleasant, but most of the times it adds to the emotion of the song :yes
^THANK YOU! Finally someone understands what I mean! xD
Is it bad that I forgot what a trumpet sounds like?
I thought it just computerized and the sound doesn't like trumpet
no, i have not noticed
and there is actually a rule that people should not start threads with ambiguous titles. |

LOL!!! it does!!! at times i was always thinking..."man...that's an awkward sound...." and there it is!!
I think they've just put autotune on Ayu's voice there, so it sounds kind of computerized and strange? It was a trend during 2000-2002 to use a lot of autotune, I remember.
now that I think about it, I quite like the opening to "I am..." =| especially when she makes that weird "ooo kara" sound O_O
Yeah I get what you mean. In I am... you can really hear it. It's really bad at the kinda 'koko ni iru' part
haha ive never really compared it to a trumpet...but i agree sometimes her voice sounds funny. but i love the intro to i am... :P
I never thought it sounded like a trumpet, and my brother plays the trumpet. I know what your'e talking about when her voice hits higher notes and cracks or does whatever it does. It definitely is an Ayu thing.
^:yes
In 'I am...', when she sings "miru kara" I think that's the most trumpet-y sounding part. |
haha. Do you noe how a trumpet sounds like? :P
^Yes. I do. :P I was in band like...five years ago. xD
And no, I'm not talking about the computerized voice. There's a computerized voice at the end. I know what a computerized voice sounds like, I'm talking about her voice at the beginning. >.< |
