tetsuo69 8th June 2003 05:36 AM

do ya think this single will break the 2million???? or even more ..cause everyone is waiting for this single in japan after 9months ????

kawai 8th June 2003 06:14 AM

According to speciation, the 3 new songs might starts with A, N and D, thus the & for the name of single.

(D should be Drift in my opinion)

Kaiousei 8th June 2003 09:51 AM

i dont think "&" is a rumor...drift on the other hand prolly is one

PinkSock 8th June 2003 07:46 PM

so much speculation!
how exciting!

~*Aria*~ 9th June 2003 12:25 AM

strange title.... i wonder what is the concept behind it...

Belinda 9th June 2003 09:50 AM

hmmm i can actually see "a" title like "&" being used "+" you can tell it didnt take "H" (hamasaki?) long to think up a title o_O;

CREA 9th June 2003 11:22 PM

the "rumor" portion of this thread's title can be removed now. The latest ayu ready? episode has confirmed that the single will be named "&". If you see the credits of ayu ready? #35, it shows "& [Greatful days] / ayumi hamasaki" ayu ready? is enough proof, we don't need the endless "I won't believe it until it's on her official site" replies.

i think its a shame that shes not doing that a / n / d thing... i thought that was creative, like shes copying shiina ringo with art and stuff, just using english instead of japanese

I don't get what you mean about copying Shiina Ringo? Can you explain?

samuraiDRIVE 10th June 2003 03:02 PM

Copying? Only 2 of her songs are actually titled in Japanese. "Kanariya" (which is just Engrish for "Canary"), and "HANABI". The rest are in English.

Anyway, for some reason, I don't see the title "Greatful days" as a very Ayumi-ish title, but maybe she's changing her style a bit? I really hope it's upbeat though. Enough ballads already!

PURIN 10th June 2003 03:38 PM

well she does have that shos?XXX (graduation photo)
not realli her song though..

how is she copying shina ringo??

ImpactBreaker 10th June 2003 10:45 PM

Hmm...I didn't really like the name "Greatful days" and with the mistake and all....:P -_- ;........... and the short part I listened to sounded too OK for me...something below average, too anime styled for my tastes...it didn't seem to have the special touch you can actually feel in most of her songs.....But well there's still the long version of the song and the other 2 so I still have a lot of expectation of course.

there's [Hana] (Flower) as well from [A Song for XX]

i didnt mean that ayu copied shiina about using japanese titles... if anyone's seen [karuki sa-men kurinohana] shiinas used all the japanese as a kind of art... and doing the a + n + d - & thing reminded me of that but using english instead..

boogieordie 13th June 2003 11:00 PM

I don't want to go around telling people the new single is called ampersand. That's weird. I don't like it.
