LOL I thought I was the only person (along with Cientifik) that didn't enjoy the preview that much. I was having high hopes for "ourselves" but i can see the music is from BOUNCEBACK as well as "Greatful days". Hopefully that's just paranoia from my side and the songs will all be really wonderful.

yeah.. its interesting yet disappointing, as Grantith mentioned, that ayu didn't do the arrangements.. i mean, with the ten month break since voyage, i would have thought she'd have plenty of time to get creative!

I understand what you mean because I've been disappointed with some of her recent songs too, but remember she didn't start composing her own songs until "M". Some of my favorite songs like "immature", "poker face", "Depend on you", and "monochrome" were written by other people. I would love to hear Ayu sing a new song by Kazuhito Kikuchi.

Kazuhito Kikuchi is great! i loved the songs he did. he composed one of my all time favourite songs "far away" ((well Kazuhito Kikuchi + DAI)). still, i expect nothing than spectacular from ayu & i know that i will not be let down.

By that time Ayu herself choose which music would suit best to her lyrics. I bet she still does that when she doesn'ty write her own music. It really doesn't matter if the music is written by other people as long as it sounds great! I just wish Ayu still dedicated a lot more time for her songs nowadays cause that seems to not be happening lately. I mean...she has Ayu-ready and many other things to do nowadays. Ayu's still my favorite artist of all though. Maybe i just got a bit more selective for music i guess....(Heck I haven't even listened to & ahhahahah I know it will be very good! It just has to be since it's Ayu and Ayu's the best:thumbsup )

i think every musician or artist has their up and downs, sometimes inspiration just pour out of their minds and produced excellent music, sometimes it just won't come no matter how hard they try, i guess maybe itz just the down time for ayu recently that she can't composed anything she like so she passed that on to others...i'd say if so itz a responsible as a singer/musician to do that to ensure the quality of their music!!

These recent songs that have been written for her haven't been as good (in my opinion) as the old songs that were written for her. These new songs are just so poppy and bleh.

Ayu did so well with "I Am." And it kinda sucks how she's taking a step backward and not writing all her songs 'cause I honestly think that the songs she doesn't write don't turn out as good.

same here. sometimes i aim my expectations really low on purpose so that i will be surprised but the covers look really good. just hope that this single will surprise me.

Ayu don't write the song by herself???? WHO SAID THAT CREEPY THING? look carefully. She did it, but the composer is not her in Greatful days and ourselves. Finally, the 6 th album won't full of Ayu's composed song. I love her composing skill but if all the song in her album is composed by her, it will be a little lack. I like Kazuhito Kikuchi's composing skill, and Tago Kunio in SCAR. WOW, the cover is amazing. Incredible, sexy, sweet smile, great camera angle. Lovely Cover. BOUNCEBACK wolud be a better composer, may be.

Oh they meant she didn't write the composition. She always writes her lyrics though (with very few exceptions). The point is, ayu proved she's a very good composer. Her I am.. album was definitelly a masterpiece. I liked all songs at tjhe first time i listened to them. The same happened to many of her older songs as well (even though if it wasn't she that composed). I'm not sure if BOUNCEBACK will really be a good composer for Ayu. From what I heard in the preview for "Greatful days" made me really sad. I still haven't heard the whole thing though so I still have some expectations...but I don't really need to listen a xmas song or some average poppish anime song at this time of the year hahaha:laugh
