^ ok now the media is just milking kuu's situation =_= thats really rude. I am pretty sure they KNEW the results of Kuu's apology and how unforgiving the public will be. And then they just had to mention how the ratings were =_= I Don't like Kuu but she doesn't deserve to be used as some doll to get tv ratings..... She apologized and it should just be left as that >_>

Was Kumi trying to sound smart or something? Because I've never really heard of someone saying amniotic fluid in a normal conversation before. XD

they take things like this a bit more extreme than the US does...it someone like Britney or Paris said this, they would just get made fun of on The Soup, SNL, and Best Week Ever then everyone would forget....

poor Kuu....i can see why many people are offended with it

avex's actions just goes to show that they arent all just about the money

actually, I'm pretty sure their action is because of the $$$. If avex overexposes kumi at a moment people are angry at her, it could severely hurt her image and avex could lose its gold mine. They're just bneing cautious to assure they'll be able to still keep on milking money through kumi when this whole crap be forgotten.

I agree 100%. Kumi currently is a very hot asset for avex. She sells well and has a solid fanbase. Thus they want to minimize the damage as much as possible. Getting her on tv and radio while they're pissed at her will only generate complaints and more resentment. Thus they're waiting for it to blow over so they can resume.

i didnt know wat the scandal was from the other kuu thread but after reading about it here, i kinda feel bad for her but at the same time you cant flame the other party by saying they are oversensitive or being jerks. this kind of stuff always happens in the workplace. one wrong statement can offend someone and you get called to the Human Resources department the next day. everyones different and they are sensitive to different things. its a lil overboard of what happened to kuu, but gotta be more careful with what you say

i hate how people are comparing what she said to what happens in america. japanese culture, believe it or not, is DIFFERENT from american culture. i'm sorry if this is a shock to anyone. she's getting punished, and from my perspective it is a little overboard considering what she said, but people are obviously offended by it. so much so that actions are being taken. she'll bounce back, this will blow over soon enough. however, the "well compared to paris or britney" remakes need to be put to rest, she isn't "paris or britney" and she's not in america.

aiyo , she offered her apologises & it's still not enough to satisfy the public ? What does they want her to do ? stop releasing music & leave the music business ??

she already apologised & the public's not satisifed with it , I think it's pathetic . Can you imagine if she didn't & she just stayed slient about this matter ?

you have to remember that informal polls aren't always an exact indicator of how the general public feels about a situation. all the viewers who actually put in an effort to call in may only be the ones who are taking it too hard, or they just may be kuu haters. many people might have already forgiven and forgotten about the incident, but it doesn't mean that they all tuned in. who knows? ;]

I myself really don't think this sentence can make such a scandal like that. It's just a normal biology knowledge that she read on the newspaper....may be it is because of her attitude when she said it??
