Pretty interesting! The instrumentals were great, and the voice was fair, maybe not the greatest but wayyy better than my own so I can't judge, haha. Rock Voyage is neat.

It doesn't sound anything like ska! It's very much American pop-punk. The only thing reminiscent of ska in the cover is maybe the fast tempo and the snare on the off-beats in the chorus.

I actually really, really like this arrangement. I always felt that Voyage had a beautiful melody and beautiful lyrics, but that the arrangement--while truly epic--is just very vanilla. This up-tempo arrangement is really exciting.

His voice isn't bad at all, and it suits the genre. His accent isn't that bad either, but it is very American--rounded vowels and over-aspirated consonants.

I don't know what it is, but no one does a good job on Ayu songs except Ayu. That's how I feel whenever I hear karaoked versions of her songs. :shrug
