how much $ you have paid CELGA ?

i paid 200+ USD... and of cos it'll be good if i know someone living in japan! in fact, if i knew someone from japan, i'll be flying there next holiday... free accommodation and guide, nothing more to ask for...

side track: i'm still so upset that i wun get to see ayu in sg! :(

i think CELGA's website looks like a fake company.. in fact, it doesn't even look like a company. i approached both crescent and celga, but only went ahead with celga cos they said they already bought the stuff and will give me a cheaper rate. on second thoughts now, was that a trick? once they get u to pay they treat u like ****** I've never heard of JAA :x but wld vpost japan be more trustable since its under singapore post? if anything goes wrong i can always complain to CASE (Consumers Association of Singapore)... wahahha

anyway, how's the process for JAA like and do they have a website? i rather like CRESCENT SHOP the way they quote me for the price when i asked them. very clean and clear, the break down of prices and all...

KarenPang 24th April 2008 05:30 PM

ick that's a lot of $ that you have paid to CELGA O_O

maybe next time if you want to get any merch from Japan , go to the url link that I posted in the 1st page of the thread

saves you much time & headache . You just have to tell Chikako on what you want & she does the rest for you

the good news's that she's fluent in Eng so lucky shot

I just love them...you get a login and so on...you have a table where you can see which shipping cost you will probably have and when they are in business and the comission and so on and so forth...they are friendly and replay imideatly....if you make an order you get a site which states you the price excluding shipping..... tough you can than still decide if you wnat to pay or if you want to cancel...and if you cancel they donīt get mean sicne it was no big deal for tehm so far...

I won't go into specific detail, but I had a problem with Celga recently. They did not read the details of the e-mails I sent them and there were miscommunications. Granted they are, very, very nice people, and I believe it was just an innocent mistake, but I ended up having to pay a lot more than I intended.

Milox 24th April 2008 09:29 PM

Well you should had done a lil research on middlemans, Celga is known for having arrogant and bad customer service.

Rinky is known for excellent service, but waaaaay overpricing.

I don't really know much about any others

polka-dot-jewel 24th April 2008 10:44 PM

I've had plenty of pleasant experiences with Celga. In fact, they ended up giving me a discount on my Ayu tickets. And I always thought their invoices were down to the point, too... Bank fees, shipping within Japan, Celga fee, and price of the item. (With Crescent Shop, I didn't really like their pricing, or that you had to lay down a later-refundable $50 just so you can bid on stuff.)

Maybe you were being harsh with them? I've asked plenty of questions for them before, and I've never gotten any kind of mean response from them. Plus, they even told ME mu-mo would take three weeks to ship. In fact, my Ayupan items weren't even shipped until a day or two ago, so I probably won't even get mine in until next month, either.

But I'll go ahead and check out JAA. ^^ It seems a tad bit more reliable than Celga and Crescent Shop...

ahh thats the same as Crescent Shop xD
you get to leave your stuff for up to one month and send it as a bundle to save on shipping <3

Everyone has their one preferences.

I guess you are right xD

i'm using CELGA too to get my stuff for a year, but i had no problems with them. i'm also waiting for my 10th anniversary stuff.

About the rudeness, i'm thinking there are different people reading the mail, and there's times that i suspect one of them english aren't so good, so our singapore english might soung rude to her/him.
About shipping, it's actually stated at mumo site that they will take up to 3 weeks to ship, so it's expected that they will be delayed, i can understand why the person who reply you sounds angry. It irks some sellers when buyers don't read, just be careful when you quote your question, always ask when will the store ship out, if you are unable to read japanese on the site.

My advise is always to email them at least after 3 weeks when placing a mumo order. I just email them 3 days ago, and they are quite polite to me.

About the high commision, USD$5 don't sound so bad when you are getting items above SGD$40, but anything under i would advise to consider.
Unless for the AYUPANs, which can hit at least SGD$40 over dollars at ebay, that's why i'm trying my luck and order 8 packets from CELGA, i badly want those rare ones, but i refuse to pay SGD$50 over dollars for one at ebay.

P.S after we get our AYUPANs, if we get extras, do you wanna exchange with me??? I expect i will get extras, since i already have 39 AYUPANs at home

zoomzoom 25th April 2008 03:18 AM

^ I don't think it has anything to do with their English abilities, the person was just plain rude.

Even if your mail was rude, they shouldn't give a rude reply. Sounds highly unprofessional. Which part of "the customer is always right" didn't they get?

Thanks for posting this, I'll never use that place if I need stuff in the future.

yeah sure! we can exchange our extras. i'd love to. :)

Well i did email CELGA again when i cooled down a bit. i figured no point arguing with him who's ruder since my money are still in their hands! if i hadn't emailed them asking anything, they wldn't bother to tell me anything at all~

my email to them
Spoiler:

I don't want to argue about this anymore. I don't know about the status of my goods and if I didn't email to ask, I would have gotten no updates at all. All I did was to explain how i understand things are from my side. and yes, it is now very clear from your rude reply. I just hope you can continue to keep me updated on the status.

Thanks.

and guess wad? despite their super fast replies when they were arguing and being so rude with me. NO REPLIES FROM THEM YET. guess they dun really understand the meaning of being in the service line and doing customer services. i previously worked in the customer service line and i was never this rude even when facing super unreasonable customers lor!

now i'm just thinking if they are going to keep me updated at all! and i wonder how many MONTHS i'll have to wait for my things to arrive! sobz...

When exactly did you e-mail them today? I e-mailed them myself (about my order) about an hour or two ago, but I still haven't gotten a reply. They get a lot of business, I assume, and they probably have to answer other e-mail and attend other matters in their business first... Plus, even though you're still closer timezone-wise to them, they're still hours ahead of you.

Even I know I can't depend on them to keep my updated - like I said, they're BUSY, they can't constantly e-mail everyone saying, "Oh, your item just came in!" I'm pretty sure they actually state somewhere that if you want to check on your orders, e-mail them (with the URL and everything).

me0wie 25th April 2008 05:05 AM

i didn't email them today.. i emailed them yesterday... afternoon in fact... i understand all the they're so busy thing. my main point was just their extremely unprofessional ways and bad customer service... and i can bet they're not going to reply at all. judging from the communication, i'm starting to doubt if i'll actually get my things...

che0173 25th April 2008 08:49 AM

nahh you should get your things
coz if you don't u can always contact paypal about it...
well you can if it is on ebay...
but im sure you can do that for these things as well
like, if you nvr get ur things...then just contact paypal, tell them ur situation, mayb they "might" do something about it xD

LacusClyne 25th April 2008 10:06 AM

don't worry, you will get your items. Just be a little more patient and email them with a more direct question, since your last email has no open question for them to answer, that's why you don't get any reply yet.

Normally, i will send them like this, 'Hi, sorry to bother you. May i check with you? Are my following items in the office already?'
Then i will quote the url of the ordered items and they will reply to me in a day.

Deneb 25th April 2008 10:22 AM

of course you'll get your things ~_~ just how long O.O but i say by latest end of may

me0wie 25th April 2008 11:04 AM
