If you watch his "Lost in Translation Part 1" video, he mentions that "Depend on you was originally Japanese and was rewritten into English" or something like that. I thought the same thing as you at first. "That's not cool! :no" He could have at least mentioned that he covered it though. :irked

Where does he mentions Ayu? Because all I see in his biography is:

"...he has made efforts to localise his talents and competently redelivers his songs in various tongues including French and Japanese as well as brand new tracks such as “Depend on You” – which features entirely Japanese lyrics."

And sorry but it insn't brand new, and it wasn't made by you! :P

@Milox I asked the same question and he does say stuff along the lines of its an original Japanese song.. I think he just worded it awkwardly heh
