Is there a link where this can be confirmed cause I love Maki and these rumors have been flying around for ages without any confirmation.

But again, I'm sooooo happy. I love Maki and have been waiting for her return. How to use SEXY was one of THE TOP albums of 07 so now I'm hoping she can keep that style. Avex just might let her!!! :)

I don't see why they wouldn't sign her. Maki would be a great asset to AVEX. If she gets the right producers and such, she could be more popular than she has ever been. Besides, this isn't the first time a MM gurl was signed to AVEX, right? =/

With the proper promotion, How to use SEXY should have been a HUGE hit but nooooo. I think this is the best thing for her. Maybe we'll even get PVs to promote the album unlike H!P and that was just stupid stupid cause EVERY other song on her last album would've been good promotion [How to use Loneliness!!!!!]

Well, I guess we'll find out if this is real or not soon enough.

But keep in mind, the source of this news is originally from a Japanese tabloid which also happened to report that Maki & Kago Ai were going to form a duet. Kago has dispelled those rumors on her blog.

Aw what's with all the Maki hate? She's amazing. She's what made Morning Musume Morning Musume after all (which is a good thing in my eyes lol). She's def. not a horrible singer (in her old days she wasn't the best, but her How to Use Sexy album is AMAZING) & she is hawt. Her nose is amazing. :P So YAY!

I like Maki a lot (even though she was never one of my H!P faves), and she has some really excellent material. signing to rhythm zone is a veryvery good thing for her career, imo.

Maki wouldn't be Maki without the nose. :P Like how Suzuki Airi wouldn't be Suzuki Airi without the goofy teeth or Sugaya Risako wouldn't be Sugaya Risako without "the pout". It's their unique features.
