Ofcourse no Koda Kumi. She is only good for a one night stand. I thought Ayu would be #1, or #2 though.

For just about all of Ayu's time on this chart, she's charted in the top 5 each and every time, topping it several times between her debut and now.

She's quite "wanted" despite almost being 30. It's strange... the "lover/loved one" appeal for Namie Amuro was really high when she was still somewhat new and has gradually fallen since then. Ai Otsuka used to place the highest and then YUI came along and totally got a ton of people to love her. I guess her charm is that she's young and pure..

Considering she's been in the top 10 for the past 9 years (and #1 several times), I think she's still ranking pretty well. :P

YUI's getting really popular now. They say she's quite like Ayu when she first started - her lyrics and rather piercing voice is the same as when Ayu first started out.
