From what I hear, despite not appearing on TV, in Japanese CD stores, they're promoting alan like crazy, there's special racks and posters, and they have her music videos on and stuff.

If everything I'm hearing about this Red Cliff movie is true, then it's tie-in may very well thrust alan into the big leagues and high on the charts

^I've heard it was a real big box-office success. If it does really well in the box office, a lot of people will hear Kokoro Ikuza. And out of the people who hear it, I'm sure there'll be loads and loads of people who like it, and they'll find out who the singer is, buy the single, and then love the artist!

oh yeah it was~ i think, though my dad wouldn't let me see it >_<....:bawl, i wanted to hear heart war in hi def in the theaters!
and the movies already out online with subtitles, and i hope people who watched the movie would remember "alan" as the person who sang it!... |

^ Yeah that's true. It's a pretty rare occassion when a foreigner does well in Japan (which you can't completely blame them).

^ Well, I don't think she should give up her career in Japan, but I wouldn't be surprised if she did a lot better in China (since it wouldn't be quite as foreign to them). Tbh though, I don't think I would have found about alan if she would've just debuted in China...I don't really listen to Cpop all that much :/...

it would depend on the type of songs that chinese producers gives her...if she did start out in china first...well i know that most cpop artists go to taiwan~...well not really, but most! cpop artists are from taiwan, there's avex taiwan~ but cpop have gotten boring, cause it's all about showcasing the music, and not the voice, i'm glad avex let alan sing chinese-influenced song, and not make it all poppy
