Yeah, I was shocked to hear that Solange had a single out. Shocked that this single was a #1 Hit Single. Astounded that Solange had released another Album previously.

I was like, they must be playing it up on the program to make her look good, but I guess it's true. I obviously don't keep up with the girl.

I really am starting to love "I Decided" and "Sandcastle Disco". And debuting at #9 is impressive for Solange!

After seeing that news clip, I'm certainly not going to give her a try at all. I was at least considering it before. Beyonce will always be numero uno in my book, because at the very least, she manages to have a radiant, kind personality in the spotlight (and I think she's an infinitely better singer).

I'm not sure what kind of competition she had, but number 9 isn't bad...I wonder how it will last though.

^I'm sure she'll tank after this week, but after debuting as horribly as her first CD did, #9 seems great.

^The reason why she prolly cranked the top ten was because she got decent promotion (and also prolly because some people did like I Decided). Her last album didn't get that much promotion and she only had like one video to it. =/ Faliure right there. I agree that after this week it'll prolly drop for the top 10 or maybe 20. =/

Idc what y'all think, Solange is totally ozzm. And her album is the bestest ever. :D And I'm so happy for her breaking the top 10!

i hate her nasty attitude so much. i like some of her music though, i wish she would look up to beyonce for guidance. :yes

Wow, I can't believe those lyrics, then again coming from her I can. Sounds like one big whiny pity party to me. Striving for attention. I'm not all that in the know on how her career is going (Then again who is?) but is this a "Last Resort". Sounds like it. Maybe a farewell?

At least she's aware of people being sick of her attitude. A shame though that she's proud of it. :\

i think solo star is decent album, like solid... but sol-angel is quite amazing. i really loved it!!! when it comes to comparing her and beyonce, solange is better to me, cuz i dont like yelling and screaming beyonce does (her b'day is one of the worst album ever to me). beyonce has few good tracks (that are on the new album and DIL one) but solange has whole album amazing, so im more into her then B.
