Well, there wasn't any real need for her to use a double since she kinda came down RIGHT after Free&Easy and then they did a whole bunch of stuff behind a curtain or w/e...

So it'd have been useless to use a double when Ayu was kinda already there.. right?

Anyone mentions Concert Tour 2000 vol. 1 yet? That's where the monochrome performance in Stadium Tour 2002 came from. She used her double in a higher platform covered with dark-net veil

wenren93 8th September 2008 10:43 AM

o.0 ayu and her magic, haha.
but i never ever tot of ayu is using double for her AT07 kiss o' kill performance o.0

prussian blue 8th September 2008 12:01 PM

there's no one mentioned AT2002's opening run? i'm really sure its her body double, and the next moments, ayu is out with another outfit singing naturally

No, not really. Given the length of her dress and the fact that her hair would have needed to be "adjusted" after the removal of the wig (something that should not be left up to her dancers), it made sense to use a double. If you watch the DVD, at 41:08-41:10 you can see Ayu's double duck behind the curtain and see Ayu come out. Ayu's double has a much less fluffy wig in addition to a much shorter dress.

Oh, Ayu and your mysteries..

that's exactly my question too

yes she can use a double..but than how do u still go up there w/o being noticed?

mikecavs11 8th September 2008 05:43 PM

^maybe she climbed down from the top

About the kiss o' kill performance and how she quickly got to her cross: I'm sure she practically runs to her spot on the cross. She and her backstage crew members most likely rehearsed getting to that spot dozens of times until she got there perfectly! It's all a matter of time and lighting and such. :)

Is this in her 2002 tour or CDL '06-'07?

Lighting is a huge part, they use those red flashing lights to conceal the background and have no lights on the back wall while she is being raised up + everybody is looking at the double.

She had MUCH time in that performance, 53 seconds to be exact, thats more than enough time to run 15 meters, take the black clothes off , sit on the cross and get these ~4 meters up, i dont think she has to practice it many times

alternarist 15th December 2008 11:38 AM

i mean its simple. she went down the stage with the "riser" that she appeared for M.

she quickly runs to the cross which is probably at the bottom of the centre stage where ayu sang part of Me. ayu removes the black cover hood... duno what u call it.

clips herself onto the cross, and there it goes.. the cross rises.. it's not a difficult process actually..
