hi-chews, but I probably would have tried them regardless, I like Japanese candies <3

zoomzoom 15th September 2008 10:39 PM

I did give Hi-chew an extra look, but I never bought it. :P

Chibi_Venus 15th September 2008 10:42 PM

Not exactly. Well, maybe for only one situation (see Hi-Chew paragraph).

Instead, I've been seeing certain items around different places because of Ayu. For instance, one of my friends had (don't know if she still has) a Lumix camera and I knew that particular name because of Ayu.

One time at Epcot I saw a bunch of Hi-Chews and knew that Ayu was a spokesperson for that candy. I told my mom about it and we decided to try it anyway. I found it pretty yummy and we buy it everytime we go to Epcot. :P

I did see BOSS coffee once at Epcot and immediately started thinking of the song, but I didn't buy a can.

greggerz189 15th September 2008 10:56 PM

Absolutely. I was introduced to the love that is Morinaga HI-CHEW, and I bought a LUMIX Panasonic camera. =D

thinkingoutloud89 15th September 2008 11:08 PM

luckily there is a szore in germany which sells some of ehr stuff
I bought Hi-Chew Gums and a BOSS Coffee *___*

rusuke 17th September 2008 03:29 AM

Well, yes indeed!! but panasonic products are really expensive..

truehappiness 17th September 2008 03:36 AM

I bought the super limited edition SHINOBI because Ayu was tied into it.

It cost like 100USD. WHY.

Oh, and I tried diet Weider IN Jelly. It's pretty good. But expensive!

JinHamasaki 17th September 2008 03:39 AM

Well, sorta. I was in the market for a digital camera. I was looking at cameras and Ayu's new FX01 commercial flashed across the screen. It advertised a 28mm wide angle lens, unheard of at that time in an ultracompact.

After further research, comparison shopping, and price checking, it was a perfect fit! :) So no, just because Ayu advertised it didn't result in me opening my wallet, but it did introduce me to a bunch of products that I MAY buy.

AyuGAME 17th September 2008 03:44 AM

yes, i bought lumix

jbrat2219 17th September 2008 03:49 AM

I got a Lumix when I first saw her advertise for them... it was so long ago, I need a new one xD; lol

taskinillusion 17th September 2008 04:41 AM

YES. LOL. I love pink, I love photography (minored in it in college), and I need a new point and shoot camera. Solution? For my birthday I am getting a pink Panasonic Lumix with the 10.1 megapixel and the fact that Ayu is the spokeswoman for it in Japan makes it that much sweeter! XD I love Panasonic too. My cd/data player in my car is made by them and it's great!

OMG I DID THAT TOO. :hi5 I LOVE JAPAN IN EPCOT. The Hi-Chews were okay... they were like a stickier, less-flavorfull version of Starbursts. :laugh

Delirium-Zer0 17th September 2008 06:11 AM

I love hi-chews of course :) I tried them when i went to a small grocery store in little tokyo LA, and was taken aback by them at first XD they were weird! But after that one time I just TOTALLY love them. Grape Hi-Chew is one of my j-snack staples now.

I also used to drink ALOT of Momo no Tennensui. I'd get the great big huge bottle of it & drink it all myself in only 1 or 2 sittings, lol! I haven't had it since I moved to Albuquerque though. For one thing, I didn't like when they changed the bottle design. :P For another, there's nowhere to get it online, and no stores out here that sell it! ;_;

I was also very much interested in trying some of the seasonal Morinaga chocolates that ayu has advertised, but there's no way to get most of them in the USA.

You can by Weider In Jelly at asianfoodgrocer.com, i should try that.

music_* 17th September 2008 10:47 AM

Hi-Chew has been my love long before I knew of Ayu, so not that much. But I did chose BOSS coffee over others once before. (Not that I really like it - too bitter :x)

jiarongisme 18th September 2008 09:33 AM

Hi-Chew of course! Not because ayu endorses it. It's basically sold everywhere in Singapore. And uh... Weider. ^^

Anyone an electronic freak? How does the Lumix compare to other cameras in terms of quality?

Back then I told myself if I was ever going to buy a camera it would be a Cybershot. But these days I have no idea what are considered the good cameras

Meh, these days it's more the design you gotta go for, since they're pretty much the same in quality, as long as you stay with name brands. The Lumix is pretty cool though with its 28mm lens, but I like my cybershot because it's so small and thin.

ren0210989 19th September 2008 01:34 AM

i just LOVE taking photos, but i've always wanted a SONY camera, but since Ayu's CM with GREEN i only want the Lumix FX-37 XD
