from what i've known, TOKIO & SMAP were the only JE representatives on Kouhaku. and Mr.Children has never been on Kouhaku.

99% sure it's pre-recorded. Ayu's been going for the past 9 years and doing CDLs, so it has to be

I agree Milky. I hope GOD that she does NOT perform Who.... JUST UGH! So overrated! :irked That song and MW seriously go down in the history books as the most overrated, overperformed ayu songs ever.
