What are you talking about? :rolleyes Arashi's not "popular" in Korea, they have a small, dedicated, amount of fans, just like a lot of Japanese artists there. They sell next to nothing in Korea. It wouldn't even make sense for a Japanese artist or group to make the move to a MUCH smaller market like Korea, where they wouldn't even make half the money they already do at home.

Um - if Arashi isn't popular in Korea how were they able to sell out arenas every time they went to perform in Korea? If that's not popular I don't know what it is. They haven't been on a Korean show nor promoted themselves in Korea really yet they still have fans. Can you tell me how that's not popular? Honestly - I don't think the already debuted groups in Japan will be going to Korea to perform. It's more like opening their own agency and producing their own Korean bands I believe~

Honestly, it's just a rumor.

I could say something negative about this but I leave it as it's since there're people on here obviously who don't support JE bands & etc

it's just a rumour to begin with , no need to get so uptight over it

Newsflash, Kaori: lots of imports sell out concerts in foreign countries, but that doesn't mean they're successful or popular there. Look at Rain in Japan. He's sold out in Tokyo numerous times but he's been a flop there commercially and most Japanese people couldn't even tell you who he is if you asked. Arashi is not even close to having any sort of mainstream success. Once they can rival domestic acts (the way DBSK has done in Japan), then maybe you can say they're successful, but for now they're nothing more than a blip on the radar to 99.9999% of Koreans.

geezzz
i loved both korean and japanese boyband
to be honest, i really liked SS501, they're my fave, but in fact, i also in love with KATTUN & NewS. ^^
I think if JE promoted in korean is good for business, that's all.and also think that korean singer also liked to promoted in Japan. so i think it's just for the business

WOW! That would be so cool!
But they would have lots of rivals. Like SM Entertainment and so on.
But would be exciting and interesting.
