I hope he goes down. he is very bad man!

Calico 4th November 2008 05:21 AM

Wow...what a shock.

I feel esp. sad for KEIKO (and not only for being his wife) and Marc, since globe was supposed to pick back up again soon. And I love globe. Hell I love all of TK's works. :cry

prussian blue 4th November 2008 07:34 AM

OMG! his face looks like my grandfather!! i thought he looks much younger :rolleyes

he is not doing any music lately (except the new globe single), right? i hope this wont affect any j-pop industry :( he is one of the legend in japan. not to mention that this guy is the one who found hitomi and namie

and as <3 you said, tomomi must be partying a lot tonight!

Meat Pao 4th November 2008 12:52 PM

Oh dear, that's a sad thing to hear. Well I don't really know much about him though I know he's produced Namie. He's also the producer of trf right?

prussian blue 4th November 2008 01:56 PM

^yap, and all the TK family like globe, hitomi, yuki uchida, TRF, H jungle with T, tomomi kahala (which is currently partying :P)

Minttulatte 4th November 2008 02:44 PM

This year's been really... surprising. I mean really. o___o I'm shocked.

evolusean 4th November 2008 03:01 PM

It is really shocking. I'm in Tokyo right now, and the general consensus seems to be that he was pressured into doing it by one of the other two men involved. A lot of people here feel bad for him, because he has a very sensitive, warm image, and they feel that he has had a rough time enough with his private life. That doesn't change what has been done, of course, but a lot of people feel that there's more to the story.

AyuHamasaki01 4th November 2008 03:33 PM

shocking ... that's all I can say.

My thoughts exactly...

And TK is looking really old in those pictures.

Rather Hazy 4th November 2008 03:33 PM

I'm absolutely gutted, that's all I can say. Just as globe were about to come back too.

summersnow 4th November 2008 04:48 PM

shocked news! *shake head*

howtousesexy 4th November 2008 05:55 PM

Oh wow, that is really shocking.

Rozzen 4th November 2008 11:23 PM

T_T He looks so sad

Zeke. 5th November 2008 01:48 AM

OMG how shocking!? How will this affect the return of globe? I was all excited and whatnot. I like his compositions.

Melon Panda 5th November 2008 05:09 AM

I hope crime doesn't affect his musical career too badly. I hope he continues to produce more artists in the future.

Princess Sohee 5th November 2008 05:13 AM

well - thats what he gets for breaking the law!!! i hope he`s put away for a VERY long time

Fevenita 5th November 2008 08:21 PM

I just read the news at jame-world.com after seeing the name "Tetsuya Komuro" which sounded very familiar to me. I had to check this guy on Wikipedia and I guess I remembered his name from V2, a band - if you can call it that, it was rather a project - he had with Yoshiki from X Japan in the beginning of the 1990's. This is very shocking indeed. Hopefully this won't be the end of his career.

And thanks evolusean for explaining the situation in Tokyo ^^ I'm glad people don't judge him right away.

Japanese pop producer arrested for fraud @ The Guardian

I like a lot of his works and globe, but I'm afraid don't really have any sympathy for him because of stuff like this:

Quote:

The peroxide blonde Komuro was never given to moderation: he drove Ferraris and owned villas in Hawaii, Bali and Malibu, and once boasted to a tabloid newspaper, "As my bankbook only shows up to 10 digits, I've lost track of my money."

At the height of his wealth he spent 20m yen reserving the entire first-class cabin on a flight from Tokyo to Los Angeles.
lwith the fortunes he has made, it shows some REALLY bad judgement to go in debt as much as he has :rolleyes

emi♡ 5th November 2008 10:06 PM

He's actually starting to sound incredibly stupid to me now...after a few comments on here...

I don't think he deserves to go to prison though. But I guess...that's how it works.

bulmasman 6th November 2008 01:50 AM

I'm surprised the guardian reported on this, but it seemed a pretty fair article. As much as i respect the man, fair's fair, he broke the law. I don't agree with anyone saying he needs to go to prison for a long time, though for fraud, prison is pretty much a dead cert i suppose. It's a sad case :(.
