my main problem with mongolian music is that there doesnt seem to be any place to buy the stuff! >: (

i bought one cd at the hmv in toronto...but thats all ive ever seen anywhere.
it drives me crazy!

That fact that you managed to find one in Canada really suprises me, seeing as I've only been able to find one online to buy D:

well, the hmv in toronto is pretty huge, and they actually had a small selection of mongolian music. most of it was traditional and folk music. but thats still fine.

the one i picked up was 'albert kuzevin and yat-kha - re-covers'
its ridiculous. i love it.

although i think the guy is from just outside of mongolia somewhere. but he uses the throat singing technique, and mongolian type folk instruments.
