Jolin maybe copying ayu's style, but she can never copy ayu's pose. Ayu has a great experience as a model. That's why ayu can do VOGUE and great pose everytime she shot for album/single covers or magazines whatsoever. She applying her model experience very well. Jolin's poses a really terrible even though she try to copy ayu's style. Actually, we can easily see in their music lately. Most chinese artistes like to copy other international artistes's songs. S.H.E copy Superstar from artiste that i don't really know who but i heard the English version of the song and Everytime by Britney Spears. I love F.I.R and their songs and sometimes, their songs have a little bit element of JPop such as one of the songs in their latest album, A Thousand Years Love.(Sorry. I don't know the mandarin name of the song because i'm not 100 percent chinese but i have a little bit of it).
All in all, Jolin is a terrible "copier". |
hey my friends said the same things!!! at school, everyone was talking about Jolin's increasingly Ayu-ish style. Well, I hope she stops it cos we ain't liking it. Even BoA HAD TO CHOP OFF her hair until it resembled something like the My Story cover! (well roughly...) STOP COPYING AYUMI!!!

Why is it always that people hate other artists for imitating Ayu, but no one says anything when Ayu clearly imitates someone else? Again ('cause I've mentioned this before in another topic), in Ayumi's video Startin' she obviously imitates Britney Spears' Toxic video and also slightly resembles Missy Elliot's Work It video. And before you say that it's not Ayu, but the director, the same could be said for Jolin.
Some hardcore Kylie Minogue fans also say that Ayu copies Kylie's stage costumes, but I unfortunately cannot find the pictures and I personally think it's a bit far-fetched anyway... Also, I've never even heard Jolin's music. I'm just trying to say just 'cause you LOVE LOVE OMFG LOVE AYU doesn't mean you should bash other artists. What Would Ayu Do? Not to mention that there are several major artists who used someone else's image. I mean, look at Madonna: part of her sex-appeal in the 80's was the Marilyn Monroe look. |
