I don't think she got that tattoo to get back at her ex. It was to commemorate her 10th anniversary in the music industry. From what I've heard she and Tomoya are still friends. Did she not say something like that in one of her TA messages? I might be wrong so don't take my words for it. She described the relationship as "brother & sister-like"? To me, I don't think Ayumi Hamasaki is the kind of person who would try and get revenge. At least I'm pretty sure that wasn't her intention in changing the tattoo design. For one thing they've already broken up, so why have such a painful keepsake as a reminder? If anything keeping it would just be deceiving herself. As people put it she's moved on. Who knows what happened between them. We can only speculate.

But to be serious, I think she just played smart offcourse. I mean, to take it off is veery painful and often leaves ugly scars after. Better of to use it for herself, to modify it and make it into something that symbols herself and her 10th anni. :)

I think Ayu did it because she want to. it maybe has noting to do with her ex. and it's better to makeover than the other way. i like her new tatoo^^

Now that I think about it...why didn't we see this tattoo on the Secret cover? The one she had prior to changing it to the one she has now. They digitally modified it with the horse I'm guessing...anyway a photoshoot like that would perfectly show off her 10th anniversary tattoo. It'd be cool if she did something similar. I've personally never known she had any sort of tattoo. I'm kind of surprised she would get such a blatant one too...right smack on her shoulder. Very bold if I must say so myself.

Her old tattoo IS there. It makes the shoulder of the horse's leg. They just connected it into the whole flying horse henna tattoo.

I think it's just Ayu celebrating her 10th anniversary plus saying that everything is over with Tomoya and she's doing great while remembering such memories they had together.

Media from other countries often take an unrelated issue and turn it into something interesting to gain more viewers :P.

Almost all chinese written articles on Ayu are rumor and fakey :P
