Not really. Too many remixes with very few them actually good. Something like No way to say single would be great though.

yoshino 27th December 2008 01:54 PM

oh.. I don't mind :D
I didn't have a single before the RAINBOW era. I alw wanna get one. It would be really worth I guess. But I prefer acoustic versions much more!! :luv2

Yoake 27th December 2008 02:47 PM

Yes but she should make a Maxi single with accoustic version than remix

noidea 27th December 2008 08:49 PM

I only like her acoustic and orchestral mixes, so i dont want that large numbered things again, but more orchestral b-sides(alterna -acoustic orchestra- or fated -acoustic orchestra-...)

NintendoHTF1242 27th December 2008 09:37 PM

I'd want half Acoustic Orchestra and half Remix's. Even though I LOVE Ayu's Acoustic Orchestra stuff I'd get bored of 10 of them in a row, so half of those and then half remix's <333

Same here !! I love the acoustic version of no way to say, Dearest, and moments!!

paperitahra 27th December 2008 10:29 PM

Personally I don't cuz I never was a fan of remixes.

MissElin_ 27th December 2008 10:42 PM

It would be fun cuz it was so long ago since last. But I dont really care so much but you know, for fun. :P

SunshineSlayer 28th December 2008 12:50 AM

Doesn't really matter to me because I never really listen to the remixes except for occasionally acoustic orchestra. Most remixes just tend to annoy me.

jbrat2219 28th December 2008 01:05 AM

Yeah I would love another one! Some of my first Ayu singles were the ones with a large amount of remixes! :D

Melon Panda 28th December 2008 01:18 AM

I'd like one. Just for old times' sake.

kendelle 28th December 2008 08:50 AM

I certainly miss them, Ayu's maxi singles are awesome. Even if she did just 2-3 extra mixes, it's always nice to get some bonus tracks for your money :P

Acoustic versions are nice as well

ComatoseBunnySnatcher 28th December 2008 10:06 AM

2 or 3 mixes but thats it

rusuke 28th December 2008 11:30 AM

Well, it's ok if she'll release another like that.... I love remixes especially Trance like System F's remixes of Whatever and Connected which he wrote for ayu. However some of the remixes are just annoying!

reixminako 28th December 2008 12:30 PM

I felt that a lot of the remixes were just there to take up space, and so there wasn't a lot of thought put into them. I like the remixes on Boys & Girls, though. If she did some really unique and awesome ones like LOVE ~Destiny~ (TODD'S LOVERS CONVERSION) or SEASONS (Dub's rain of duv Remix) again then I'd probably be excited enough to start buying more of her singles :)

Kikaru 28th December 2008 10:14 PM

TBH the only remixes that I truly liked are the acoustic orchestra, since I really don't like trance. So one or two acoustic orchestra in an occasional single is okay, but I'm pretty okay with the two songs two instrumental singles.

Then again, I don't really buy singles.

Ayu_no_tenshi 28th December 2008 10:32 PM

yeah...i miss the various remixes (>.<)

ahhmon 29th December 2008 07:28 AM

Actually some of the remix works are awesome... But I wanna get some 4A singles like A or 3A singles like H...

~ayu-cake~ 29th December 2008 06:28 PM

I really miss her older singles, I used to really love the remixes and it made the single even more special. I hate how short her singles are now.

.__.

Delirium-Zer0 29th December 2008 07:55 PM

I reeeeaaaalllly miss how singles were handled back in the good ol' days.

I do agree with alot of you guys here that most of the remixes were unnecessary... but most of them were well-produced enough, and everyone doesn't like all the same remixes. (I hate both the remixes that reixminako mentioned earlier - but I do like others.) I like that fans had a choice. There was a wide variety of remix styles - rearrangements, drum n bass, trance, house, rock, dub... if you don't like one remix you're bound to like another. The 10-track singles gave us alot more choice. Now, if you get the fairyland single, and you don't like either of the remixes included there (as was the case with me), you're stuck. There aren't 6 more for you to choose from like there used to be. Now that the singles are shorter, it's far more likely that there's nothing on the single that you'll like. Plus, it used to be awesome to buy a single for a song you love, and then have like 10 versions of it to choose from. singles like "Fly high", "kanariya", and "Boys & Girls" are absolute heaven for people who love those songs & can never get enough versions of them!! :)

I also miss the one new song per single thing. Sometimes it was 2 new songs, but not all the time. Just think - if vogue, Far away, and SEASONS had come out now, it'd be like "&". Triple A-side, one B-side, and we wouldn't get some of the really amazing remixes that were on those CDs. Honestly, I dunno if I'd be as big an ayu fan (or if I'd have become one as quickly as I did) if I never heard the HAL's mix of "vogue". o_O!!!!

I also miss the fast release schedule. This year we would have probably gotten 4 ayu singles instead of 2 if she was releasing the longer, remix-packed singles like she used to.

So there are alot of reasons why I miss the old approach to ayu singles. I think taking a break from it wasn't a horrible idea, but I think they should come back.
