As much I'm a big fan of hers, I must admit that I can understand why plenty of people are completely put off by her voice.

I really like "unique" vocal talents, but I just can't stand hitomi's song "BLADE RUNNER". it's bit a bit much even for me, her voice is just too screechy and the chorus is just really grating my nerves with it's composition/arragement even ignoring the vocals.

I just find hitomi's voice to be really expressive though, I think her nasal sound brings emotion into the songs. to me she sounds very unique in a good way :yes

hmm i just recently looked up some videos of her, but i don't think her voice is at that point where you can just say you hate her voice @_@

but everyone have their preferences....though i didn't Shiina Ringo at first due to listening to Mellow...but after watching some live performances, she's not really all that bad

i try not to just automatically shun an artist until after i've heard most of their songs...you never know, you might even turn into a fan when you thought you would dislike that artist~

so anyways, her voice is bearable for me, i'll try to listen to her more

Her voice sounded good in LOVE CONCENT. There are a few times her voice gets a little grating but really isn't all that bad.
Gotta agree on the her voice fitting rockish songs, WISH is love.
