Of course I know that haha. Don't you feel this single clashes way too much though? Like I said I can live with the cover. But then you open it up and it's like wth?! Cartoon Ayu haha. You know, I'd like to see the reaction of someone who doesn't follow Ayu news. That person just knows she just released a new single. Goes to the store to pick it up, brings it home with him, looks at the cover and goes: "Oh damn she looks flippin'". Then he opens up the CD and it's like ._.; Without considering the movie, the CD art really feels out of place doesn't it?

the reason I love the cover so much is because it is something we would not expect from ayu...hence, this is new and different, and different is great!
I mean, lately she's been doing tons of glamour shots, of which some I love, but this cover catches the eye...
the sexy pink background with green and yellow contrasting great together...and that earring really puts the cherry on top :heart

as far as the CD art, I think it would have been better if the cover was cartooned on the CDs, but with different poses or something

I think Ayumi looks beautiful, but the cover doesn't really match the songs. IMO. Too bright for such a dark sounding song.

I'm pretty sure most first time Ayu fans will figure out that it's Dragonball themed on purpose. It even says it under the "Rule" tracklist, not to mention how amazingly HUGE Dragonball is in Japan and around the world.

Obviously Ayu likes it or else she wouldn't have used it. I don't mind it and I think it's really awesome that Akira Toriyama did CD art for her. :yes

I love the album AND CD art - it's very different and I think it's a good change of pace from her glamour shots. She looks very colorful and punkish which I don't mind one bit. :D

I'm a sucker for bright colours and fingerless gloves, plus adding how hot Ayu looks makes me frikken happy.

I absolutely love it!

When I saw it, I threw my hands up in the air and shouted "HALLELUJAH!!!"

I seem to be going against a strong current, but I think the whole package is perfect. 100% perfect. I couldn't have asked for anything better from Ayu. The cover is extremely eye catching and fierce. It matches the song and the movie perfectly (with a very Ayu flare). The CD art seems very "limited edition" and would be a treasure for any Ayu + Dragonball fan (when I get mine I might not even play it hahaha).

The CD art is Dragonball

100% perfect!

What's with the CD Cover hate??? Geez people! First it's like people didn't like the covers for MW and D/G... Now when Ayu changes to something drastic, people STILL HATE IT!! I love the CD cover myself! It's a good change! :D It's a "Leah Dizon meets Koda Kumi" cover! (^_^) I hope the other covers are drastically different! XDD

LOL. But Ami Suzuki's covers has been quite awesome compared to Ayu's lately.

The "Rule/Sparkle" cover photoshoot is low budget like BoA's covers. But at least BoA knows how to pose and is photogenic. XD Which actually makes the cover nice.

Different doesn't necessarily equal great, but people generally liked MW and D/G. And Leah Dizon/Koda Kumi? She's nothing like those, so that's not a good thing. Ayu is so much better than this.

If the other 2 versions have similar covers I'll get over it. It's just not how I pictured it. I thought it would have darker colors (Deep Blues, Red, Purple, Black..). not insanely bright pink green and yellow x3.

I really think it goes to show that some people are never satisfied with what she does... :no I do like the concept of the CD+DVD cover.

CD sticker thing = LOVE! I love Ayu as an illustration by Akira Toriyama!~ >w< Especially the Z Fighter outfit she's wearing hehehe.
