I'm not familiar with mexican food - it's not very popular in Russia because we have Caucasian food(I mean georgian, armenian, azerbaijan). As I see - tacos resemble Döner kebab (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/D%C3%B6ner_kebab).
But now I'm thinking of going to some mexican restaurant this Friday :ywink
