i wouldn't mind if she takes a 2-3 year break.
maybe it's because i'm just not as excited anymore whenever she releases something because she releases stuff like everyday. (u guys know what i mean) |
I don't know. I guess I'm one of those fans still in the honeymoon stage, but I feel like whatever Ayu does is fine with me, in terms of release schedule. If she decided to take two, three years off, I'd be fine. If she wants to keep doing this, I'm happy with that too. Ayu herself doesn't feel like she's rushing or working too hard, she always seems very cheerful and happy to do what she does.
I'm curious as to what people think she would do in that 2-3 year break. I mean, music is literally her life. She doesn't seem that interested in getting married, and it doesn't look like she wants to try something else (like melody. and her fashion design). I just can't see Ayu doing anything else except what she's doing at the moment. |
personnally,
i would love to have an album at the end of the year LOL dont hate me... lol personally i think i'm currently waiting for the next single LOL NEXT LEVEL is a far thought |
Except Utada has 3 English albums + 5 Japanese ones.
And Ayu has 10 + mini + predebut. No Ayu's sales been comparatively high against other artists. The only ones that are really beating her are best albums and sometimes other divas. And for those thinking ayu has lost writing spark and needs a break, it's said the same since the release of Rainbow. Lol... gosh everyone says the same thing but just insert new album name from the previous one. Her 07 Tour in Asia was like her longest break. Ayu has her own plans. She's a work alcoholic, especially as a POP artist you have to be. I thought what kept ayu's fans was her constantly releasing new material. If you don't like her current ones, go listen to her older ones/favorite songs. Or else take a break in her music if you think it's failing. Because if everyone does that, her sales will go down even more and she might start like freaking out and start making more of the same old that you guys like. If you know anything about ayu, it's "music is my life. If without music or I can't sing anymore. it's like i'll die. I'm nothing." Haha that's from the CNN Talk asia interview. Do you want ayu to stop, meaning wanting her to die? Hahaha |
nobody wants AYUMI to stop :P
i think, that she works too hard some times. it could lead to depression or exhaustion. ayumi then cannot give her best all the time. even in a few months ayumi can refresh her spirits and then return. |

I agree that she should slow the hell down.
A new album every 18 months is fine with me, I haven't got the money to buy a single, an album, and a live DVD of the same artist in the SAME month. :P So yeah, an album every 18 months. 2/3 singles BEFORE the album is released and when I say before I mean like A side/B side released three months before, A side/B side released two months before, then either A side/B side released one month before OR her energy goes into promoting her album. Then, with each single she needs to do no more than four singing appearances, in which she have the commonly performed A side, which will get people wanting to hear the B side. Then to promote the album she should prostitute herself to magazines and TV shows (not just singing, but interviews and such). Then that's three/four months out of her year, leaving fourteen months left to do a-nation and her Arena tour. Then she can do CDL if she wants to. Then she needs to take at least 2 months off to record/take a break/write lyrics/shop/etc. Basically take it easy whilst recording. :P Then, if she wants to do an Asia tour, she should make sure she has more material than a new album, then dedicate say a year or so to touring Asia instead of it being a 'I'm going to perform five times in another Asian country then 498543098095 times in Japan, and I shall call this Asia Tour'. ;) |
She needs a serious break... I hope she doesn't rush an album to be released dec 09-jan 10, I would prefer a late 2010 one... and so on
