or maybe (and imo, more likely so) it all was just a marketing trick - making the item seem more rare than it actually is to boost sales.

I guess CD japan ordered some more than they had pre-orders from their customers, or some ppl cancled their pre-oders and now they habe some left.
I dunno why ppl always see marketing tricks or do panic or something like that XD

Well, CDJ stated that the final run would be "based off of preorders". Maybe they took the preorder amount and made 5-10% extra?

I think the reason for yesasia still having more copies of the USB is to the fact that some people have canceled their orders??..maybe?? and after yesasia sent their order in, maybe they werent able to cancel them because the USBs had already been made and thats why they have some to sell still ??.. i dont know..im just guessing here~ i was just lucky enough to buy a first press from a kinokuniya X_X!~
