:no

it's different if you're talking about a Taiwan press of a Johnny's band DVD where traditional chinese subtitles are inbuilt into the DVD contents even though ARASHI's latest DVD , it did came with a translation sheet & the subtitles are still inbuilt in the DVD's content

ANYWAY ...

PCDL's release date's already confirmed on avex Taiwan's website - http://www.avex.com.tw/4th/artist/ar...-2038&cateid=2

Usually OS press can be referred to Taiwan or Hong Kong press

in this case it's already confirmed , well 1/2 of it LOL

not for Hong Kong press yet

SolarAngel 15th May 2009 04:46 PM

That's nice n soon. Hope it finds it's way to singapore shores without much lag.

foxhana 15th May 2009 06:20 PM

i hope someone who gets the taiwan version will tell us here whether or not her songs titles are translated into chinese on the dvd.

jpopfan018 17th May 2009 06:58 AM

It seems that the subtitles affects the quality of dvd, according to the discussion on avex taiwan

jiarongisme 18th May 2009 01:46 AM

Well, I'm getting it. So I can help check for you. But they don't translate anything IN the DVD. They'll just provide a separate sheet of paper with all the translations.

pommy48 18th May 2009 01:52 AM

only the VCD will have the hard subs, the DVD just have a separate sheet

but for VCD, at the beginning of each song, they put the translated title

The taiwan ver has hard subs for the dvd, I got mine today and can't turn them off :P

nanakopy87 28th May 2009 01:42 PM

douggn, how is the video quality?mind to put some screenshots of it?

douggn 28th May 2009 02:13 PM

I don't have a dvd player in my computer :( and I can't see anything bad with the quality but the others may have a better quality video but not by much, the cover and booklet and case are all good too, they don't feel like there made cheap, but if you want the best quality the JP versions probably best

Oh dear, normally it's like that for the VCD whereas the DVD just comes with a translation sheet.
