I used to only have MP3 players made by Creative Labs too and I just recently got my first iPod. It's the Nano fourth generation and I really like it! Nice and light and shiny and easy to use. Getting all of your stuff on there via iTunes is a LOT easier to do and manage than the way Creative made you do it. Don't know anything about the Zune though.

^seriously about the apple store thing lol...well one of the reasons I love my ipod, is kinda like what you were referring to with your friends...

Like all the stores have accessories and support for ipods...and I know it's just because it's like a trend and everyone has an ipod...but I mean, I really like being able to have a large selection of cases and protectors and whatever for my ipod.

I also like that itunes really does have an extensive library with dozens of artists.

It just seems like there's pros and cons to both products...I don't think that either one is better than the other...

I think the Zune would win if you just cared about having a media player and nothing else though.

^ Well, they have their own software that you have to use to create and edit playlists as well as edit videos to the right format to put them on there. Also, you have to create individual folders on the player using Windows Explorer, transfer the music into these folders and THEN create playlists, whereas with iTunes, you just put on there whatever you want when you have a playlist for it or whatnot. It eliminates steps and is just more organized and faster. :yes

Aha! Yeah! Seriously, I don't care if something doesn't work right unless it's pink. My iPod has a little rhinestone heart on the button too so that makes me love it more. X3

@taskinillusion: You actually used the software that came with it?? I deleted it like a month after and just used the sync tab on Windows Media Player :P

Yeah, I have a Nano. I totally typed Nana then. X3 I haven't decorated my iPod in a while. Last time I decorated it it looked like this. Now it just has that gem in the middle.

Ipods are poo in my hand. and i have no idea what a zune is. I use neither.

iPod, for sure. My brother had a zune and it broke down a few months later. Maybe it was bad luck though... Anyways, I have had iPods and now I have an iPhone and I'm really satisfied with it. :)

I prefer my itouch to anything else. The battery isn't so much a butt to me as my other mp3 players.

Actually, zune is much better than an iPod, but the problem is, not many people have it. I have an iPod, but I think Zune is the better product :(

BUT, I don't like the new nanos or the iTouch thingy everyone's so crazy about. For me, the best iPod is the one I have (last year's nano, the square gum-looking one).

The Zune has so many cool things:
- Big screen
- Radio
- Customizing (background image)
- Big display of CD cover art
- Great colors to choose (comparing to iPod classic, not Nano)

What I don't like is the program you need with the Zune. iTunes is much simpler too use. The Zune is also thicker and bigger. And the major reason why I didn't buy it: IT CAN'T DISPLAY ASIAN CHARACTERS!!

In the end, the iPod is the player I've always had. Easy to use. Simple.

I LOVE the scroll lol It's so easy to go anywhere. I even have a skin over mine and it works...for the Zune...that was another thing...I heard that the click wheel thing can like misinterpret where you wanted to go, if you dont press it like, absolutely right in the center and stuff.

The Zunes have that feature now, but at least you can turn it off. Other than that, the iPod is alright in my opinion. But I don't know what I'd do if I weren't able to change my background picture ever... I change it like... everyday xD; Right now I'm sporting Kuu's 3 Splash covers lol. Also, the wireless syncing is THE BEST. I leave my Zune in the speaker set or plugged up somewhere in the house and I'm always in a different location. So, instead of trying to go find it to sync music to it, I can sync it wirelessly from anywhere in my house, holla!
