I don't know, maybe Namie is more accomplished? She was married and although later she divorced, it seems like she's really happy now. Plus she's a mother. Her career is going very well, she's regaining popularity. Plus, she looks super young for her age. And her personality is really down-to-earth.

I think people want to become Ayu just for the glitz and glamour.

^ This doesn't even make sense. Namie IS a singing diva as she is stunningly beautiful. She's not the cotemporary definition though so she is more down-to-earth in that aspect... Ayu has several stories that tell of her acting diva-ish which isn't a good thing but don't take it from me. Sounds like someone's bitter. :D
