^ why is she stubborn? she wasnt able to see the hole and the reason she was badly hurt is because a worker FELL ON HER, the worker is the stubborn person

i think you misinterpret the 'stubborn'.
what we means is ayu is being stubborn for not listening to the doctor and insist on the performance, and running around, when she's not suppose to do so.
