A tie-in like this could actually make a difference, even a small one, unlike DBE I am actually glad they're finally trying "alternative" ways of promoting Ayu's music or at least a way they haven't tried in years.

Any promotion helps towards sales
Thanks for sharing!

There's actually another my boss, my hero type drama that's coming soon too...with the guy from smap and meisa kuroki...was hoping it would be that drama or something...but this is still ok...even though I have no interest in the drama but knowing ayu will have a drama tie-in makes me happy...and thanks to the tie-in, we'll have a preview soon!

This is great, it probably WILL help sales and we'll get to hear the song earlier! :D

That's really surprising. I mean, when was the last time she did a tie-up to a drama? (2003, of course, as noted...) Hopefully the drama can do well on both itself and the upcoming sales of the single, though the release dates are kind of separated by a month...

And by the way, who are the actors/actresses in this show? (Must be Romanized, please...)

Some are: Tachi Hiroshi, Ishiguro Hideo, Minamisawa Nao and Hirayama Aya.
Hideo is popular among the younger crowd,
so him being a cast member will help views
and hopefully help Ayu's sales too.

BTW, the drama is about a widow who is overprotective of his daughter
and he writes bestselling novels.

d complete lyric not come up yet..
but there're people who have complained bout that..

Haven't heard about these actors/actresses...are any of them well-known, at least?

The whole cast is mostly older people,
the only young ones are Hideo, Aya and Nao.
IMO, they're OK-known actors/actresses.

Like I said, Hideo is the most popular because he was in Gokusen 2&3.
Plus, this is a drama without any Johnnys,
or any other people who are really popular among younger crowd.

I think it might get ratings of like.. 6~10%, overall
which is just.. on the OK level.

ll moments ll 30th June 2009 12:19 AM

OUUUU Ishiguro Hideo. i know that guy from "Ichi Pondo no Fukuin". and he had a cameo in "MR.BRAIN" and was in "Gokusen 3". :)

i think it's great Ayu has a j-drama tie-in, even if it's not one of the most anticipated ones (Takizawa Hideaki, TOKIO, & B'z got "Orthros no Inu", "Karei Naru Spy", & "BUZZER BEAT" tie-ins already). but j-drama tie-ins are good exposure, nevertheless.

mcluva420 30th June 2009 12:40 AM

very "growing".. LOL
i didnt know forgiveness was a drama tie-in

majrakun 30th June 2009 12:52 AM

That's great! I had a slight feeling (or more like hope) that it was a drama tie-in. I've always wanted to watch a drama with Ayu's song in it. XD

love in music 30th June 2009 12:59 AM

that's great! lol i'll probably watch this. i can't wait for that preview. the lyrics sound real nice.

TakaSama 30th June 2009 01:17 AM

I don't know if "growing" is a word I'd use for these lyrics... it's more like:

"With a louder voice, a greater love
Will reach you
I always want it to ring in my heart
because a louder voice will bring forth greater love"

I quite like the potential of these lyrics :yes

ayujarl 30th June 2009 01:43 AM

preview soon
that means Ayu may sing this in her upcoming lives too???

Neferet 30th June 2009 02:13 AM

I hope it increases her single sales.
This and a-nation will be a great promotion for the new single, for sure. ^^
I can't wait to listen to the preview, I like the translated lyrics!
Now I'm hoping it's a good song... EnergizE and independent are not my favourite songs but well... let's wait and see xD

kendelle 30th June 2009 02:16 AM

Great!

Now I have to follow this drama xDD I hope it gets subbed *__* Ayu should do a cameo too! Heehee
