Arashi's 27th single, "Everything", makes its debut at #1 on the weekly singles ranking. Released in May, "Ashita no Kioku/Crazy Moon ~kimi wa muteki~" had an initial sales of 502,487 copies, and released in March, "Believe/Kumorinochi, Kaisei" had an initial sales of 501,988 copies; the Arashi who has marked both first and second places in the singles initial sales for the year of 2009 so far has now also ranked in at third place with another work which sold 342,000 copies in its first week. Arashi has now monopolized the top three spots in this year's first week sales for singles.

The only problem with RESCUE is that it's too Engrishy for me. Don't get me wrong I like Engrish as much as the next person but that was just too much Engrish.

Everything has grown on me. Mostly because when I went to Prospect Park on the Fourth of July and I was in the pedal boat I decided to play it and it just fit the mood. You know you're in a pedal boat and it's summer time and the wind is blowing just right, you know. And the lake looks so beautiful and your enjoying the surroundings. Ah, it makes you appreciate the world and the song more.

i haven't been to prospect park, since like, the 8th grade :weep (random :P)

RESCUE honestly is my favorite KAT-TUN song of this year, but "everything" is still great, too. i guess i like both, lol.

oh. i was talking about the whole single, not just necessarily the A-side, but i see your point. though, the b-side "7 DAYS BATTLE" was worse in the Engrish department. :lmfao

& idk, i don't think i can ever get to fully like "Everything". it's not my style at all. i'd tolerate it more as an album/b-side, but not an A-side.

though everytime i try to think how the song goes about, "Ashita no Kioku" plays instead. LOL.

You just have to be in the mood to play Everything. Like with what I described. And me too. I swear that's all that came to mind when I use to think about Everything.
