It could be the director that chose the kids too :P Wataru Takeishi directed all of the videos (except alterna) that you mentioned. A possibility that the kids don't appear anymore is that Wataru Takeishi hasn't directed a music video for awhile (I think since HEAVEN).

Oh, oh! I've actually always thought the little girl in the end of "alterna"'s PV looks quite a bit like the girl who plays Lucy in the newer Narnia films. Let me look up her name...Georgie Henley. Of course, it could be, and probably is a completely different girl. It doesn't say anything on IMDB. I'm not sure if IMDB even lists music videos as performances.

I don't want to feel this, but the kid in the Endless Sorrow PV is really make me hate the song very much! It's because, when I first time excitedly watching the PV, I waited for a long time to see Ayu appear in the PV. But the PV only showed the kid! I cannot believe it. There's also Ayu's PV that doesn't show Ayu in it. Urgh..!

Ayu being in the Endless sorrow PV would have been redundant, it's nice that her PVs don't have to have her in. :D

I never made the connection :spew but with these pics you can clearly see there the same, thanks. Maybe there just easy to get and ayu likes to work with them. Some may not be the same but its probably just because avex alreadys has there number and to save a search for children ayu likes, it just saves time and money :P

I think nobody have mention this yet, but how about the kid in no way to say who give the tissue paper to ayu and runaway. I think he look similar to the kid in Endless Sorrow pv imo.

not gonna lie, the endless sorrow pv really annoyed me, when the kid climbed up to the top I was soooo expecting ayu to be there singing sitting on the ledge with the wings like the cover of the single. that imo would have been amazing. just take out all the endless sorrow pictures lying around. that would have been perfect imo.
