I didn't buy the Ayu one cause the cover was horrible, but if Kumi has a cute cover I'll buy it.

I was watching a live of The meaning of peace~ first time I'd heard that song. I found it interesting that her voice isn't that different from 8 years ago.

her voice on affection sounds so much different to me than even grow into one. i wish she'd re-record some songs like come back, walk and TAKE BACK. i love those songs but her voice and the way she screams the songs ruin it for me.

what first got me into kuu were her dance songs... mainly JUICY and BUT. check out BEST ~second session~ Black Cherry and Kingdom, they're the most diverse of her albums. TRICK is diverse too but a lot of it isn't so good.

i don't see what's so bad about her voice in 'come back' :shrug
i much prefer that kind of voice to her more recent screeches in say ai no uta or ai no kotoba.

:( i have no idea. i checked all the album booklets and they just credit the director and producer. Candy and Get Up & Move!! both had awesome choreography. i'm pretty sure Hot Stuff and Selfish were choreographed by AKIKO though. she was one of kuu's dancers too.

Definately TABOO the 1st song you've to tried. it is her best song ever IMO.
if you like Ballad I can suggest you yume no uta. those 2 songs prior my favorite.

i think the last time she was with kuu was in Best ~SS~ Tour?

from what i read on JPM, it was due to "creative differences" which was i think before the best ~ss~ project, so they had some sort of fight over that and parted ways.

hopefully the HQ performance will come out very soon. from what i've seen so far, she sounded great!

i think Kingdom is what brought a lot of newer fans into the fandom. i remember when it was released, there were like a million new fans.

i say, start with her newer works and work your way backwards. most people tend to stop at feel my mind :P but it should give you a good idea of what you would like!
