I think that we might be getting album news in a while if this is being uncovered...

Yes, because usually the album is annouced first. Maybe she will use ~~ to indicate the concept, now? There was already ~Future Classics~. But the answer to this should come soon.

Circuses are more about theatrics. You know like clowns, juggling, trapeze artists, wild animals, tightrope walkers, ringmasters, etc. Magic is only part of it when magicians come out, haha.

CeReSu 17th February 2010 12:44 PM

OMG soo great! Rock&Roll *O*
Wow can't wait more infos!

majrakun 17th February 2010 12:44 PM

My first reaction was, "****. HAHAHAHAHAHA" And I'm not sure if that's good or bad. I guess she's going with the Alice/Circus theme from CDL09-10's EnergizE/STEP You? I just hope the costumes for both her and the dancers would be much better.

Has there been any time when the tour name was announced before the album title? Rock'n'Roll Circus is most probably a theme instead of an album title, because as a theme, it definitely sounds cool, but as an album title :no

That said, I sure am looking forward to the tour even more now, I hope it lives up to its name :D

A circus should be all about animals and clowns showing off their skills and not so much about performing "magical" tricks.

Quote:

A circus is commonly a travelling company of performers that may include acrobats, clowns, trained animals, trapeze acts, musicians, hoopers, tightrope walkers, jugglers, unicyclists and other stunt-oriented artists.

Rock'n'Roll Circus is the title of a Rolling Stones concert / live album apparently...

Oh man...

CeReSu 17th February 2010 12:46 PM

Where do you find this infos? There is not on official website

The blogs in Japan. They just found out about it from TeamAyu, it looks like.

Umh o_O
I like the title, but please, I don't want a circus theme AGAIN x_x

Aderianu 17th February 2010 12:48 PM

Rock'n'Roll... that's not bad

I can not expect anything from the title, because it never coincides with the content

mellody 17th February 2010 12:49 PM

If it's really a magic show circus, I suddenly remember STEP you in AT06 or the one in CDL 09-10

Well, someone in this blog also post the title for this year ARENA TOUR :

Here's the link that I find.

I must ask you, when has she done a full on circus theme?

I don't think she has, to be honest, haha. She's dabbled with clowns, but that's about it.

OMG~ I think Ayu just want to play with Britney!

indyplus 17th February 2010 12:52 PM

Sounds great. I can't wait!

AyaCere 17th February 2010 12:52 PM

Thanks for posting!

When I first read the title 'Rock'n'Roll' I had to think of Elvis Presley and of Britney Spears surely surely.

I don't know if I should like the title or not. We'll see, but I hope it's not the new album title.

'Rock'n'Roll Circus' says like nothing for an album.

I have no idea what to expect... Is this the album title? Is this just the theme? Whatever the case is: HOLY CRAP. I think this was revealed at TeamAyu.

Sources are various ameblo blogs posting about it. There were like 10 entries at the same time...

http://ameblo.jp/kayzu
kayzu was one of the first to post about it.

It's on the TeamAyu site as well, so it's confirmed.

It's usually the album title, but I find it rather long for an album title...

and even IF she's doing something similar than Britney, it's going to be 10 times better...

AyUmIXx 17th February 2010 12:54 PM

I don't think this was in a diary entry. Usually someone updates about that when she does.

Magicians do appear in circuses, but magicians can be independent of circuses, if you know what I mean. Magic shows are usually standalone acts.
