Seriously!? How did I not know about that... (wiki's it).

So it looks like hands down Namie will be the top selling female artist this year; how do you guys feel about that? (No female singer is going to sell as much as P<F after all...)

zyoeru 9th March 2010 06:04 PM

After so long she deserves it. :)

Do What U Gotta Do is a Mummy-D song though, and Uh, Uh,,,, was when Namie did the Suite Chic project.

Heh I was about to say the same thing. Namie why do you have to be so darn pretty?

Oh and once again, Past < Future, this album is pure gold, that is all.

I know this is off-topic, but does anyone have the scans with these pictures in it?

Hopefully :D P<F is just a great album.

Namie and AI look good together. :lech lol fanservice

I can't really say whether I like the song or not yet, since the preview was way too short. :/

Erm, Ayu might with her new album. Though I'm not so sure based on NL's sales.

Well, sorry for talking about Ayu in Namie's thread but, it was because of G/D + NL that got Ayu the number one spot last year so without that kind of single sales, I don't think she stands a chance with Namie's album which has sold sooo much already plus whatever other material she'll release this year.

I'm not a huge fan, more because she has such a large discography, but I enjoy what I've listened to and I think she does deserve to get the title of best selling solo act this year, especially after accomplishing this oh-so-rare huge comeback.

Polyrhythm 10th March 2010 05:01 AM

Where did Namie come back from? I thought her huge comeback was in 2008 with Best Fiction 0_o

i think it was just before best fiction, where 60s70s80s just released, it caused another of amuro boom

even though her popularity is rising rapidly from PLAY too

Yeah the whole 60s70s80s thing was very attention grabbing.

Alessia_Tateno 10th March 2010 09:17 AM

The real come back started with Baby Dont Cry single that sold much compared the her singles in the previous 10 years (1998 - 2008) and after that....

~StarCatcher~ 10th March 2010 09:26 AM

Yes the come back was with BDC.
I don't think it's that okay she will be the best selling female artist this year...
I think it appears as if Ayu and Kuu put much more effort in their works and they are way more creative.
Even though Namie makes great music and P<F is awesome.

lollipop sophie 10th March 2010 10:58 AM

oOOo I they both looked good on the cover of AI's new
