I second that. Maybe if Gwen's solo music wasn't ****** and stupid and No Doubt didn't take 30 years to release an album I would still be into them.

That's exactly my point :thud...

Avril Lavigne - Loved her first album soooooo much, but her music after that took on a bit more of a pop edge and I just couldn't really get into it.
Michelle Branch - I still love her first two albums and listen to them a lot, but I lost interest in her new music now that she's gone country. I wish so much that she'd make songs like the ones on her first two albums again.
Goo Goo Dolls - Used to be OBSESSED with them and their Gutterflower album, but then I just lost interest. Just like that, I don't really know why.
Bon Jovi - Still like some songs, but burnt myself out on them.
Nightwish - Used to be my favorite band, but I don't listen to much gothic metal/rock anymore, tbh. I could also say the same for Within Temptation, Lacuna Coil, Epica, Delain, Leaves' Eyes and almost every band of that genre I used to listen to, pretty much. I still sometimes listen to them when they come on shuffle, though. Sometimes. Kinda. xD

Ayu - simple and new songs dont grow in me except microphone and overused shuya
Rihanna - New album is very boring.
Alicia Keys - I used to love her No one but after that her music really disapoint me

hsienko 26th March 2010 07:50 AM

I thought of a few others.

Amy Winehouse - Had she not gone on like a 2 year drug bender, then disappeared to St. Lucia for a year and didn't spend her time running around London and Manchester with her Dad doing absolutely nothing and actually focused on her music and making music then I'd still probably like her, but I doubt she would be able to top Back to Black anyways. But a better question to ask is: does she even still have any fans?

Lily Allen - I thought her first album was pretty neat with the whole Ska-Reggae flavor but that Second album came out and it just showed how much a crappy lyricist she is.

mcluva420 26th March 2010 08:14 AM

Leona Lewis. i loooved her so much when Spirit came out. Then her voice got annoying. Starting to like her again, but not yet xD

Endless_RAINBOW 31st March 2010 05:59 AM

Mariah Carey. This girl totally rocked my world during the 90s. "Music Box" is one of my favorite albums of all the time. Her last great album was "Rainbow". "Charmbracelet" was OK, "Mimi" started the chaos, "E=MC2" is a mess and now... I couldn't listen "Memoirs" till the end. So boring and plain. An her voice is getting worse.

R_Hikki 31st March 2010 07:20 AM

The Killers - First album, great. Second album, great singles, lacking album tracks. Third album, so pretentious it's distasteful.

Jully Black - First album, amazing. Second album, pretty good! Third album, what the hell happened? I listen to her from time to time though.

Rihanna
Britney Spears
Mariah Carey

I'm still a fan (somewhat)

Ranma Matsuri 16th June 2010 06:59 AM

I'd have to say nowadays I'm bored with pretty much all western artists but as for ones I loved:

Avril Lavinge: Last album was cute but meh. It seems so long ago when I liked her now I just think she (and supposed "punk" rock acts in particular) are so lame and immature. Teen angst and misguided anger isn't cute.

Linkin Park: I still love Meteora and think it's one of the best albums ever <333 I even liked Minutes to Midnight but they take too long in between albums and I forget they even still make music lol.

Evanescence: Same as Linkin Park. Last album was good but takes too long in between releases. -_-

Hilary Duff and Ashley Tisdale: They actually still make some pretty good music but I just kind of stopped caring. :P

Lady Gaga: I still like to see her perform and I think she's an amazingly talented woman but the whole Beyonce (shudders) collabs has left a bad taste in my mouth (seriously her one verse ruined telephone for me, though the video still managed to be awesome with her wooden acting :eviltongu ). Plus, I don't find her music as addictive as I did last year.

Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana: LOVED her in High School but her music just kept getting crappier and crappier then she simulataneously got bigger and more overrated. Add to the fact that she has zero talent, her "singing" and songwriting are a joke, so now I pretty much cannot stand this girl at all.

And temporarily, I've lost interest in Britney Spears but only because she really isn't doing anything right now. Once Summer is over, more album news should be on the way so I'll start paying attention again. Agree with identity though, the last album wasn't good and her laziness is frustrating. -__-

lovelism 16th June 2010 07:03 AM

Utada Hikaru... Hikki takes so long to make new material~

ストロボ・EdGE 16th June 2010 07:56 AM

I was never a big fan, or even a regular fan, and I liked several of her songs but she just keeps getting worse and worse. I'm done with BoA.

...i obviously feel the same as what you feel. :no

pepper 18th June 2010 01:52 AM

from the US artists:

Avril Lavigne - i loved her 1st album, and even liked the 2nd. Then she dropped her "panties" and self called a princess of punk (wth, this commercial *******?) I loved her when she was natural and was singing about her family, friends, past loves. When i heard Girlfriend i was like wth is this **** omg

Green Day - I was a big fan, i grew on their music, it's not that i don't like them, just dont care anymore. Their last album was very "all sounds the same" I only loved "21 guns"

Kanzaki 18th June 2010 07:42 PM

Eminem
Linkin Park
Trentemöller

JackieRos 18th June 2010 10:29 PM

Ke$ha, it's been a long time since I heard her music.
is all overrated and I found new things thanks :rolleyes

just because she makes good music it doesn't cover her nasty attitude
