these outfits have grown on me, and its nice that we have more.

I still hate the cat maid though.

She overuses the short silver dress.
She used it for glitter before, wore something similar for GAME in AT05, the last outfit in ASIA TOUR 2007 and now two of something similar.

I agree that it's a disappointment ... sigh she should have scrapped the whole HOTEL Love songs theme since it was from last year, and came up with something else.

well its too early for me to say that the hotel is a disappointment, but it seems silly to me to use the old tour title when this tour is mostly PQ songs. i don't get the point. did they use the same ideas but just use PQ songs instead? i think they should have dropped the HLS idea all together. :shrug

I think it's really a whole new concept, but with the same theme. I think the previous CDL was what last years tour should have been, but this has been readjusted for her new tour. It's like I said in the other AT12 thread - it's not just a bunch random songs, it's not just about wearing hotel-esque outfits. Ayu portrays different people in different situations within the hotel. The songs tie-in to each person Ayu is portraying. Yes, the "hotel" theme is used, but I think she uses it more to her advantage to make it better than what CDL was. (I wasn't too fond of CDL11-12, and this was so much better than that.)

The tour is quite fantastic. Perhaps not one of her best, but it could possibly be one of the best for some people. It's definitely one of her most darkest, and perhaps her most conceptual one yet.

^^I'm all for dark and conceptual (although it doesn't seem that dark from the pics/outfits we've seen so far), but the set list is just...well, it leaves a LOT to be desired.

There are not two silver dresses. There is a gold sparkly dress for the jazz songs and a silver sparkly dress (she wore in CDL) for the finale.

And yes the Party Queen performance is so interesting and deep! Sad and epic is a perfect way to put it!

I agree with you, the cat mad outfit might not look impressive on pictures, but when you are there in person, she look super cute! Everyone went kawaii!!!!!

So so excited to see this in July. The more I read about it the more I see the different layers, how intricate and thought-out the whole show is and how it reflects the concept behind PQ. Not such a simple rehash of what she's done before.

Yeah, could have used a more balanced setlist instead of being so PQ-orientated but at least that way everyone gets to hear their favourites off that album. Plus there's enough non-staple old songs in there to give it some balance. Would have loved to hear like a doll or do it again live but I can live with that. Would be more disappointed if any of reminds me/return road/tell me why were not there.

People complain about the name - but really, it has absolutely nothing to do with the show or how good it is. It's a good concept, nobody has said that the concept is crappy, just that the name is somewhat misleading, so why scrap or waste it?
