I have never heard of either of their music... But I would imagine it is vastly different from ayu's. A collab with Namie or Kuu would make sense, but with ayu? I can't see it...

pop, pop, pop, pop, pop...there are so many amazing rock musicians out there, who ACTUALLY compose,write and pruduce music...kinda sad that she is skipping those for collabs... :( but i am more for solo that duets.

Also her collab with KEIKO was really good too, their voices went well together and they both had a lot of emotion. I'd really like to see Ayu collaborate with another female singer songwriter ):

I'm definitely interested in hearing the final product. I just hope it's an upbeat song. It's pretty hard for me to imagine ayu's vocals in a BIG BANG song.. but as long as she uses her deep voice it could be really hot

BIGBANG is not a manufactured pop group, sorry. The leader, G-Dragon composes and writes all the songs for the group.

I just checked out three vids from each group and to be honest... meh.

Out of the two, I think I prefer 2NE1. But, the overall sound of both groups is rather basic to me. If ayu does collaborate with them I hope she adds some depth to the sound.

Would really love for that to happen!!!! that would be a perfect mesh of my favourites. I hope G-dragon can right a song for her. I could never see Ayu doing something like their style honestly..but it'll be SO AMAZING

I actually like Big Bang, so I guess that's why I'd be into it.

They're really creative, and considering it was Big Bang who made the first move is kind of cool. I mean, they obviously must like/respect her otherwise they wouldn't have said anything. :)

I'm really curious how ayu x BIGBANG would sound like (if they are really working together later on). I consider BIGBANG as a better band in KPop. At least they are not doing bubble pop/r&b/hip hop compared to the other Korean acts.

Of course I would die to see ayu collaborates with hikki/namie/etc., but mostly they won't at this moment :P.

OMFG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just read this on bigbangupdates!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! omg i could not be any happier right now. Ayumi and Big Bang are literally my two favorite things in this entire world and i cant even believe this could be happening. when my shock and awe and disbelief wears off i will cry.

...........big bang writes their music and their lyrics, G-dragon produces not only for their band but also other people in the entertainment company and composes the music. all those things that you said other bands ACTUALLY do big bang ACTUALLY does.

I think a collab with 2NE1 or BIGBANG would be great for Ayu's popularity! I'm not a fan of either group but anything to help Ayu out right now in that department is definitely needed.
