Honestly, if Ayu hadn't told people about her relationship it would have come out anyway. Paparazzi would hound her until they knew, or just make stuff up. Better it comes from her. At least that way we get a half truth from her, instead of a full lie from a tabloid.

TeamAyu2004 16th November 2012 04:29 AM

Honestly if they wanted to use this as a PR stunt it would of been better to just let the press release their story and let them have fun with it, while ayumi's team said nothing...

nothing fuels fire then no confirmation.

LOL she ate ...dirt :P

When I watched it, I assumed she really DID fall because she tries to catch herself and so does he, haha!

Sorry I'm only coming into this discussion so late, but yea, saigodansu was right, ayu did write that she was molested. Here's part of the TA entry which came right after the red bracelet section (28/6/2010):

And then, when everything was going on, there was someone

who grabbed my leg and wouldn't let go...

Anyway, this person touched my leg the who---le time..

There were so many people around, I couldn't move away..

I was so scared...

Now, I'm really agonizing over this issue.. What is the distance I should keep with everyone?

What should I do?..

saigodansu 16th November 2012 04:53 AM

Different from the lousy translation I got when I checked up on TA after seeing your old post here, but thanks for straightening that out. I don't know what words confused google, but it made it sound like she and her 2 friends who share the red line were bound in chains by a molester. That's why I took so much offense with people who seemed to just ignore that entry of hers.

Misa-chan 16th November 2012 04:58 AM

^ Could you maybe let me know which entry you're talking about? Like the date/month/year it was posted or the title if you can rmb? I can do a proper translation of the entry and clear up all these ideas once and for all lol.

Did she seriously write that? OMFG. Why are people so stupid?! If she feels scared she'll never do things like this again! WTF

saigodansu 16th November 2012 05:14 AM

It talked about the reason the 3 friends started wearing the red line to begin with. It was atleast around the time of the one you posted, but with no translation on your blog. I only translated 1 sentence at a time so it didn't seem like it could be the one you just posted. If I still had my TA membership active I would find it fast, but finances are too tight for that right now.

happiholic★ 16th November 2012 05:15 AM

Isn't public molestation like, an issue in Japan? Like, in subways there are signs that say, essentially, "Don't feel women up on the sub" and apps that have a message that you show to the person that say something like "Shall we go to the police?"?

Pieces_of_SEVEN 16th November 2012 05:29 AM

^I think it's an issue everywhere, no? Especially depending on the person being touched.

happiholic★ 16th November 2012 05:31 AM

I've never been felt up anywhere, ever. Nor have any of my friends ever experienced such a thing, and we take the train everywhere.

TeamAyu2004 16th November 2012 05:31 AM

^ I do think this is a problem in Japan... either that or the news blows it up...

But I have had friends tell me that girls have to watch themselves on the trains over there...

Pieces_of_SEVEN 16th November 2012 05:35 AM

I'm a guy, but I'm small (only 5'5), but still, being a male makes me a much lower target for things like this.

Someone grabbed ayu's leg though and wouldn't let go? Like...I'm livid. BRING HIM TO ME NOW.

tokyoxjapanxfan 16th November 2012 05:51 AM

It is in fact a problem here. It's called being a chikan (if its a guy doing the molesting) or chijo (if it's a girl).

Happens on trains a lot because they get so crowded and a lot of times people don't report it.

There was a movie made called "sore demo boku wa yattenai / それでも僕はやってない" which is based on a true story about a business man falsely accused of touching a woman on a train, and instead of pleading guilty, which is much easier to do in Japan, he plead not guilty and was found guilty by the court even though he didn't do it and went to jail.

The court system in Japan is really bad. Instead of innocent until proven guilty, it's guilty until proven innocent, but yeah... Kinda off topic.

Pieces_of_SEVEN 16th November 2012 05:54 AM

I just don't want ayu to stop meeting fans, and I CERTAINLY don't want anything to happen to her, and I don't want her to feel like she's unsafe. I wonder where her entourage, like Stan, was when this was happening?

TeamAyu2004 16th November 2012 05:57 AM

^ this was years ago though...

Pieces_of_SEVEN 16th November 2012 06:11 AM

^What, this incident? Really? That would actually be a relief. I thought it was like, this week.

TeamAyu2004 16th November 2012 06:21 AM

I think saigodansu is saying that is why ayumi wrote
Red Line ~For TA~

Pieces_of_SEVEN 16th November 2012 06:24 AM

OK I need clarification then. I thought Misa posted that as a recent blog/diary entry.
