Which is so weird, because she totally says it as "leen" in Dr. Jolin lmao... idk, I've heard it both ways at this point, I'm gonna go with "lynn" since she's said it in an interview that way and I think it sounds ugly the other way around lmao.

(18 or so seconds in)

The way she says it in the interview, that's how I've been saying it. :yes 'Jo-lynn'.

When I hear 'Jolene' / 'Joleen' I think of this:

Brace yourselves people (lol), it seems that Miss Trouble is indeed getting an MV in the end! Her agent mentioned it on his Facebook...

^ There's always a PV that gets scrapped from the repackage version... There was already Fantasy with MUSE that didn't get in the MUSE in LIVE version.

Not always, it's been like that since Myself, so not that far away...
About Fantasy, back then Warner said it didn't make it because they weren't able to edit it in time, but it was supposed to be in MUSE IN LIVE in the first place.

I wonder why they're taking so much time to release Miss Trouble MV, especially since promotion for PLAY is officially over since CNY... Will it promote the Tour or something (it's starting in May)?

Just getting into Jolin, I've been listening to PLAY and watching her music videos all day, literally lol

Quick question: Which of her older albums would you guys recommend to listen next?

Tom Punks 31st March 2015 01:43 AM

^ MUSE and Myself first.

MUSE is (imo) hands down her best album, much better than PLAY (again, imo) and has some incredibly awesome MVs. Fantasy and The Great Artist are really good ones to check out first.

Myself is also solid, and from the rest of her discography it's the only other one that's remotely "modern" sounding lol. Honey Trap is a bop.

If you're OK with early/mid-2000s pop, which is just really dated now, I'd also say Dancing Diva.

I also love Castle and Magic, but I'm not sure if anyone trying to get into Jolin NOW would, since they're so dated and pretty cheesy and such now lol

I already watched The Great Artist MV and wow, just awesome :love I'll definitely check MUSE.
I actually love early-2000s music so I might as well check her music back then!

Thanks for the recommendation!

Is there are CD + DVD version of Muse available? I couldn't see one on YesAsia.

Listening to Play on my iTunes again (was gonna hold off until I order/get my physical copy), such a good album!!

Yes, it's called MUSE in LIVE : it contains the album, the DVD with the MV, and a live DVD. It's the edition I own myself, and I'm satisfied with it, it's a (true) deluxe packaging, and regarding the price, that's nice :)
The only drawback, is the lack of the Fantasy MV, it was released a bit later.

Excellent, thank you! I will add it to my "to buy" list!

Delicious n Bold 9th April 2015 04:05 AM

The deluxe version of Play is on my to-buy list but I have never used Yesasia before so I'm a bit skeptical.

I never had any problems with YesAsia!
But I've been ordering C-Pop albums from 5music since MUSE because they're less expensive than YA...

mi|kshake 9th April 2015 11:57 PM

Yep, I've always find YesAsia to be good!
