That snow is probably all gone now. It's like 7 degrees in Tokyo, that's definitely going to melt the snow.

Never tried when it's snowing, but I was in Yudanaka, close to Nagano, in early April a few years back, we couldn't sleep due to the jet lag, so we hit the onsen in the back yard. Now even though it was april, this was in the mountains so it was really cold. The feeling was just too awesome. I'd imagine it's even better with the snow flakes~

Off topic on snowing :P : 3 years ago in January my first trip to Japan and was snowing, our original plan was travelled to airport from Chiba by airport bus and then from airport to Shin Yokohama by airport bus, but bus services suspended due to snowing :no.

Luckily, we managed to found a taxi (thanks to hotel manager) willing to take us from Chiba to Shin Yokohama, it took us almost a day to reached the hotel (road slippery and some highway closure), and the taxi fare also kind of shocking.

Thou I like snow but I'll never again pray for snow if we required to travel, it'll be freaking disaster, haha :P

My family was big into hot tubs in the early 2000's haha. Three uncles had one as well as my family. Going in when it's snowing was the best. :-)

Shoveling off the cover, however, sucked. As well as a path to and from it. And all around it. Lol
