Winter diary (Preview)

maxikot 10th December 2015 10:24 AM

Ayumi made a carol xD For now i takie it as b-side and main part will be classical versions of songs :> Beginning was fun but later very generic, i will like it but just like it ;-)

Aderianu 10th December 2015 10:29 AM

it's so generic =) filler song

Gustavopc 10th December 2015 10:34 AM

Hmmmm, I was expecting for a slower-paced song but it's rather cheery! Very christmas-y also, even more than Close to you. This said, it didn't impress me but I like the direction she took with the song. Give it sometime and I may grow fond of it, but right now I wouldn't say this is an amazing song.

YukiUsagi 10th December 2015 10:44 AM

The most boring song ever.

kotora 10th December 2015 10:52 AM

This will be my first time not going to listen the full song because of this high quality preview.

It sounds very disconnected to me.

Ryusei 10th December 2015 10:53 AM

The first video was only the chorus, it was 30 seconds long for anyone wondering why the first video was removed. I'm also not impressed by this unfortunately :// It's very christmas-ish but meh...

Surreal17 10th December 2015 11:02 AM

Wow, this is probably ayu's second Xmas anthem after Close to you. Its different from her other winter ballads. I kinda like it.

Eewyi 10th December 2015 11:10 AM

Love this a lot. Is super Christmasy. Probably the most Christmas-like song Ayu has ever made. I would totally see this as a cover of some general Christmas song lol It's so Christmas-like.

Zeke. 10th December 2015 11:11 AM

I'm not gonna listen until the full high quality, but I don't know what to think based off comments. I had a feeling it was gonna be a snoozer with TK working on it, but I see there are comments on it being Christmasy and that type of atmosphere might save it for me. I mean, I used to hate Close to you for how dull it was but now I loooove it for its unique atmosphere.

I LOVE IT, finally a real xmas song! Now i need to refrain myself from listening to the preview too much.

Ayumi Romania 10th December 2015 11:12 AM

Ah.. I almost wanted to stop the song after hearing the beggining..very boring..

280301 10th December 2015 11:14 AM

I actually like it. I think I've gotten to a stage now where if Ayu releases something that is somewhat unique to her discography I get quite excited haha.

freedreamer 10th December 2015 11:15 AM

I had no idea where the song was going melodically LOL. Wanted a sadder song too hahah! But i guess...

LONJJONG 10th December 2015 11:16 AM

Sounds very TK.

KPL 10th December 2015 11:17 AM

I think this is OK. Looking forward to the classical arrangement of other songs though

holy_arrow 10th December 2015 11:22 AM

It's not my cup of tea. The song is disconnected itself and I don't like it. Quite disappointed !

ayumint 10th December 2015 11:25 AM

I LOVED IT!!!! Especially the part after chorus !!!

kouga 10th December 2015 11:27 AM

I'd like to hear something like Carols.. can't wait to listen the full version.

tsumekaze_ 10th December 2015 11:34 AM

I like that the lyrics mirror those of summer diary and there's a direct reference to it (when she says "ano natsu mitai ni" -> like that summer after mimicking a sentence from summer diary) but I would have preferred a similar melody a la sunrise/sunset if she had to do this. In this way it kind of looks like she's reusing same lyrics instead of having a "proper" scheme like she had on sunrise/sunset.
Aside from that, the song is not bad, I like that it's so wintery. The first 30 seconds with that engrish re-hash of silent night was awkard as hell and I couldn't stop cringing tho.
