Reading some comments and there are some people who hear her singing 'sanma' instead of summer - sanma is the Japanese word for the mackerel pike! :laugh

The new singles project sounds exciting! The 12 singles project was such a good time to be a fan! Looking forward to the PVs too. I haven't found her recent PVs that great (the last ones I really enjoyed were from Walk of my Life) so hoping I like these more.

Maybe each song is a nod to an older song? Since there aren't much more infos yet, we don't know - but would explain the re(cord) title

This song fits on summer with the vibe. The last time I feel summerish from her is Once Again that is my fovorite too.

I think it's worth mentioning that the code for the 9 tracks that were in the reLIVE website was removed, and now it's just for the two new tracks. I guess it was a mistake anyway with the code being there.

Does OTOTOY count towards Oricon? I bought both singles there, as they accept PayPal and songs are available there earlier. I encourage all the fans to buy the new songs & support the Kueen, each is only $0.99, she really needs all the support from her fanbase she can get nowadays.

Precisely. The cover isn't stellar but the song itself is just amazing, it's all that matters. I find it hilarious the way she says "oh my God-ah" or whatever she's saying. lol I wish she hired kaled kalil to edit the covers for re(CORD), his covers are awesome.

None of them resemble her older songs to me. They rather sound like post Bon Voyage era songs, when she started changing her sound: Eh Yo - Bring It On / Dreaming Now!, Summer Time - EX TAPE / NO ONE ELSE BUT YOU. I wonder if the next song is going to be a ballad.

Summer Time is like LIT toned down a bit and mixed with HOTEL lol I like it, it probably will grow a lot on me.

I got my copy of the FFX2 soundtrack today - I wasn't sure if YesAsia would have it in stock or if it was still in print. Looks like they have continued to reprint it as the little Kuu section has a picture of the Dreaming Now cover.

Looking forward to listening to the orchestra version of 1000 Worlds again - not heard it in years.

Kuu will perform Cutie Honey at Ongaku no Hi 2019

The theme of this Ongaku no Hi this year is 'sweat' and Kuu is going to be part of the 'scorching heat' medley, starting this medley with Cutie Honey.
I guess there is a possibility though that she will have more than one performance, it's live after all.

But that means she will appear in two different programmes on two different channels on the same day.
That's almost like back on her peak. :P

Her inkbox collection is almost completely sold out now, only a few copies left of two of the designs.

That's possible cos her website didn't mention will she be performing at Ongaku no Hi just the 1st or 2nd parts if not both

We'll see , Kuu should perform Summer Time , it would be great if that happens
