I’m writing new song lyrics.
I’ve been going at it every day, learning how to put it all together and line the words up in my mind.
I felt anew that it’s difficult and interesting to express my feelings and emotions through the lyrics.
I’d like to try and write lyrics which can touch your heart…by presenting the words well, even if it’s little by little.

She's so cute! 8D

Did any of you know that Kanon has one of her drawings in a special REPO! pamphlet that’s being passed out at the Cinema Rise threatres in Japan? That's pretty cool~

So saying a future single is in the works wouldn't be too far fetched to say, right?
Ohh, awesome about her drawing.

ren'ai 23rd March 2009 11:35 PM

Oh wow I never saw this thread before!!

I do hope she releases a new single soon

Beauty4123 24th March 2009 01:22 AM

I didn't know that she did that. Her drawings are really beautiful. She should draw her cover!

I'm glad that she is writing a new song!

AyuHamasaki01 25th March 2009 04:30 PM

Let's pray for a new single!

Chandrachan 9th May 2009 12:47 AM

I was just checking her Picture Diary - her drawings are amazing
my Japanese is terrible but does the new posts say that she'll be live at Astro Hall?

Yum!Fruit_Salad! 9th May 2009 02:48 AM

^ Yep. It's supposed to be a 'secret' live

GRACE 9th May 2009 03:20 AM

Why hasn't she announced something new, it's been like, almost three months since her album, that's enough time to put out a new single D:

^ Absence makes the heart grow fonder? No, Kanon is an evil beaver.

I would like to see a live of her!!

Kanon came to Paris. So, I hope she'll decide to come back and make concert in France and maybe in Belgium like Kokia do! :D

I prefer that kanon prepare slowly a single when the inspiration is there instead of give us a bad song!

AyuHamasaki01 9th May 2009 10:21 AM

^that's true but the waiting .... it's taking so long :weep

Yoake 9th May 2009 11:03 AM

Don't worry. I think she'll release something new soon.^^

Kanon will be at Otakon to sing. So if anyone's thinking of going there from July 17-19 you have another reason!

http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news...sing-at-otakon

All I could read on the site was the headline because the server's slow, so I put it through Google translate and translated a random language to English to read XDDD

The Otakon Convention has announced that Vampire Knight Theme Song Cellist / Vocalist Kanon Wakeshima will make her American Debut at The July 17-19 event in Baltimore, Maryland. Wakeshima wrote and performed The "Still Doll" Ending Theme Song for The Television version of ANIME matsuri Hino 's Vampire Knight Manga. Wakeshima then contributed The "Suna no Oshiro" (Sand Castle) Ending Theme for The ANIME sequel, Vampire Knight Guilty. She also made a Cameo in The First ANIME series by playing a maid in The eighth Episode .

Wakeshima was one of the performers at Tokyo's Individual Fashion Expo IV, the most recent installment of the largest Gothic Lolita (Goth-Loli) fashion show, last September. The event highlighted the connection between manga, anime, music, and Gothic Lolita fashion with Wakeshima's performance and a sneak preview of the anime adaptation of Yana Toboso 's Kuroshitsuji manga.

American Debut?

Kanon want an international reputation and want to sing all over the world. I didn't know so ambitious

kendelle 12th May 2009 11:55 AM

^ Breaking into the US seems popular for Japanese artists at the moment! xD
