SCANDAL'll release their 7th album called YELLOW on 2016/03/02. It'll include 13 songs (including Stamp! and Sisters)

There'll be 3 editions. Two limited versions (one with a T-shirt as good and the other one is a CD+DVD version) and a reuglar version. The first press'll get stickers.

The SCANDAL tour 2016 YELLOW was also decided. It'll start on 2016/04/16 and end on 2016/06/11. There are two oversea date in Honk Kong and Taiwan.

Long overdue for a new album! Cannot wait for it - except we're going to have to wait until March... At least a couple of months...

But, yeah, first album since last year's "HELLO WORLD". Cannot wait for it nonetheless.

Barely days after completing their domestic arena tour, SCANDAL – one of Japan’s strongest all-female forces in rock – have announced the international release of upcoming seventh album, YELLOW.

SCANDAL burst out of Japan and completed their first world tour in the spring of 2015, playing an impressive 41 solo shows across nine countries. The big step in their already impressive career was captured on film, and will be released on DVD from 4 March through JPU Records, entitled; SCANDAL Documentary film HELLO WORLD.

YELLOW covers a lot of ground, exploring SCANDAL’s usual upbeat pop-rock style, combined with touches of ska, heavy rock and punk. It includes recent singles Sisters and Stamp!, the latter of which was written and composed by guitarist MAMI while on tour outside of Japan. Both songs made it into the weekly top ten of Japan’s Oricon chart. It also features the theme song from their tour DVD Chiisana Honoo, the first time the song has been available on physical or digital formats, as well as a re-recording of Your Song from previous album HELLO WORLD, now featuring full English vocals.

SCANDAL hit Japan’s music industry running, and hasn’t stopped since. Their fresh, upbeat take on pop-rock achieved them the award of Best New Artist Award at the Japan Record Award while they were still teenagers. I bolded the rumour's topic. The Scandal France website asked JPU Record about this line and they answered that the japanese label let them to write this.

Gosh, I'm not sure if this is going to make the JPopsuki cut, especially when the fact they don't allow any releases that get released in Europe or the U.S. We know AHS' servers are based in the U.S., so I might try to request for it when March comes, especially FLAC, otherwise I'm just going to shell out a bit of money and get hi-res FLAC out of Ototoy, mora or somewhere else...

Had to use a workaround just to download (watch) this video because if watching directly in the US it's blocked because Sony Japan isn't agreeing to the YouTube Red terms (other than, for the other Sony Japan channels, they're already blocked outside of Japan)... :headache
