having CDs in your hands its much cooler than just downloading.

looking at the pictures, watching the DVD on my TV, etc. all that is way better than just downloading stuff...


but its true, downloading is taking over, not only in Japan but in every single country.

how big a threat is downloading in Japan? i've heard that it's not as big of a deal there as places like the US.

I like having physical copies too, considering if something were to happen to the digital copy I'd have the original.

I always will try to buy the physical copies to somewhat lessen my guilt in downloading :laugh

somemore there's always this feeling of being able to hold the CD while listening to it , it's something I cannot really describe though

Yeah luckily, Ayu puts all of her b-sides on the album, so I usually just buy that. I don't buy her singles, only for her anniversary and way back when I wasn't smart enough to do so.

they should re-release a deluxe edition of NEXT LEVEL at the end of the year including the singles during this year to really boost sales lol xD

^I think they will only do that if NL was selling phenomenally to begin with, like H single.

if they will ever re-releasea CD they will with GUILTY to make her another record

They shouldn't rerelease her newer albums at all...with the piracy thing, it is great owning an actual copy, but poor students like me can't do that with such expensive CDs. :P

That's really not anything new :) Of almost 20 000 AHS members only around 200 said they both the album (as far as I can remember).

it looks NEXT LEVEL is going to have a short run like ayu's recent albums :(, let's hope the singles would help it a little bit, I really wanted to buy this album but I couldn't because I don't have money :no

Is this based on the online order count thread? I thought that was based on members who ordered the japan press because that would count toward oricon whereas i'm sure many others bought or ordered overseas versions which are much cheaper. But i don't doubt that more didn't buy the album than otherwise :P

At this point though I suppose it will chart longer in a week or more better than GUILTY.

A lot of people probably buy the overseas version. I know that when I get money I'm not fussy about the Japanese Press. It's not like the sound quality is affected. So HK or Korea Press for me. XD
