^ You mean like she permanently has them taped together these days? :) Can I buy that tape too? haha

truehappiness 20th July 2009 06:31 PM

Taped together? I dunno if that's what it looks like, but then again I am a male with no boobs, so.. yeah.. haha.

The worst that it's looked like was in AT07's opening when she suffocated her poor Ayus.

Since no one else wants to read the ViVi interview [haha, you can try if you want, I'll put it in the end of this post], apparently Sunrise written in the "you" sort of perspective or something, and Sunset is the "me/watashi" perspective of a "teenage female" with warm thoughts [boka boka?].. though I wonder if they both have something to do with Dandy Daddy? or not because she did write Sunrise for it.. I think it says something like "one melody, two sets of lyrics, two arrangements.." hm. It goes on to say something about her asking if it was okay to make Sunrise [which was first] into a ballad.. and if that was okay [kore.. ballad.. iijyanai ka? or something].. hm. SOMEONE ELSE READ, haha.

What? Her boobs are taped together? What does that mean?

P.S: Is that a plastic film/wrap texture you have on your deliciously hot Megan Fox sig? :luv2

i used some grunge'y texture i have in my photoshop folder *hihi*
but its a offtop, end of topic xP xD

??????? what is everyone talking about. It just looks like a pushup bra built into the bikini. You can tell because the bottom "wire" is pretty predominant. It's something more common in Asia, I would say the manufacturers in the US don't usually have that (according to some female friends...)

Anyway, the covers are OK. I wish the background was more natural "Bali". I think the outfit is cool, her body is SMOKIN', but it doesn't seem as cohesive as say, "CAROLS" "INSPIRE", "H", where the background, outfit, facial expression allllllllllll tie up together. If these are the real cover, it shows the sum of all parts is greater than the whole picture.

Nonetheless, these are tiny and we need HQ pics to really determine. But I think this cover would actually look stunning over Shibuya 109 and billboards.

truehappiness 20th July 2009 06:46 PM

I'm gonna bet that the promo photos and all photos for this that aren't the covers are going to be fabulously amazing, ughhh.

SunshineSlayer 20th July 2009 06:49 PM

^ Push up bras work because of padding that is inside, not because of the wire. To me, that really looks like a completely normal bikini top. :shrug btw, I'm in America and nearly every bra I've ever had has a wire in it - its not specifically an asian thing. :)

HTMSD 20th July 2009 06:51 PM

After i looking at the covers many times, i don't think that this is bad... Well, i think that i don't need to cancel my order @cdjapan xD

truehappiness 20th July 2009 06:52 PM

Sunshine, I think it's because we [as me] do not shop for bras/bikini tops, so we have no idea about these things unless we crossdress or work in a lingerie shop, hahahahaha.

lol well I am only going by what my friends say. Ive never had to wear a bra before....I think. (lol)

Well something HAS to be going on, I don't think its implants because in other pictures she looks pretty flat still, like last month's ViVi with her at the pool.

SunshineSlayer 20th July 2009 06:57 PM

@truehappiness lol. Yeah, thats exactly what I was thinking. :) haha, such a weird thing to discuss in detail anyways.

polka-dot-jewel 20th July 2009 06:57 PM

I think if Sunset were for Daddy Dandy?, we would have known about it. It would probably be an insert song if it were part of the dorama.

lol I love how we're now talking about Ayu's boobs... I, personally, think they've always been a bit bigger than some other Japanese stars. Let's view a few photos, shall we? ;)

Well, the lyrics seem to deal with Dandy Daddy? in Sunrise, and perhaps they loosely sort of talk about things from the girl's point of view in the show and how she doesn't get freedom from her dad to love..

THE BOOBS!!!

SunshineSlayer 20th July 2009 07:00 PM

^ The only thing is, I would pretty much only trust candid shots because its pretty obvious in a lot of those shots that she is wearing some heavy duty padding imo and then in a few of those pics, I wouldn't even say her chest is that big.(at least not like its been looking this year) Fairyland in particular I remember thinking her chest looked very normal and even on the small side in that PV.

Nice translation of the article by tenshi no hane@AHS:
Quote:

ViVi, September 2009.

“Because we’re in this kind of era, I want to send out sparkling, cheerful and powerful things. I believe that’s my duty.”

Dressed in an flashy eighties dress, Ayu smiles, “I feel happy when I’m dressed like this”. She confidently says that her music, fashion etc. express her real essence. “If I wear basic clothes, it’ll certainly calm my mood, but if I’m not allowed to do different things, it’s just uninteresting, right? If you’re only defensive, you won’t be able to create new things.”

From the 20th century to the 21st century, in those ten years, Ayu has been leading the girls of those centuries. Whilst always showing precise answers to the doubts and problems of girls from this era, now, in her 11th year, Ayu is focusing on the tastes of certain people.

“I love the fashion of the eighties. Back then, that kind of strongly and boldly coloured patterns were widespread. Because there were no personal computers in that age, it took much time and trouble for people to make things. Now, you can easily make anything, right? For example, if it’s difficult to express one emotion with words, we convey it using pictographs, just like that right?--- But with things created in the eighties, you can feel the energy and enthusiasm of the people who made them. I think that’s a great thing.”

“When I first thought about the concept for this year’s NEXT LEVEL tour, I wanted to convey the power which people hold. That idea suddenly popped into my head.”

“When I think about organisation, up 'till now, rather than a live performance, I wanted to create an entertaining stage. But, this year, while leaving the show-like part behind, the power of the band’s performance, the liveliness of the dancers, the team, my lyrics; all those things---, I wanted to let hear and show the things which can’t be turned into machines, things which only humans can do. That feeling was very strong.”

As for this year’s 10th anniversary tour, concerning both Ayu and fans; a “thank you for these ten years” feeling of gratitude was exchanged. A feeling like some kind of ceremony beyond time. That was this year’s tour. “The people who came, laughing and crying, made me very happy; it’s a very strong feeling,” Ayu said.

A live performance with nothing but fun, happens often, but a live performance that shakes the heart, happens rarely. During the NEXT LEVEL tour, the words which Ayu created one by one, putting her entire heart into them, carried the rhythms and melodies. Especially ballads like Days became songs from the soul, as if penetrating the cells of the audience one by one. A very pure feeling.

“Lately, things like lyrics make me happy. I’m often told that it looks as if I’m pursuing a goal. I’m not conscious of it to that extent, but I can recall one thing: when I sang my lyrics in January this year, ----how should I say..?---- I can’t find a proper way to say this, but there’s a “I can do this” kind of feeling. Until now, since I’m weak in vocal range and chords, everything would disappear unnoticed----. Somehow, I feel it turned into ???. So, if it’s like that, desires will also steadily come out.”

On the 12th of August, the double A single [Sunrise ~LOVE is ALL~/Sunset ~LOVE is ALL~] will be released. It’s Ayu’s new experiment, consisting of one melody but two different lyrics and arrangements.

“Sunrise is a summery, happy pop-tune, but whilst writing the lyrics I thought, “it would be nice if I turned it into a ballad, right?”. In that way, the ballad Sunset, glowing with the melancholy of the end of summer, was born.”

The subject of Sunrise is “you”, and that of Sunset is “me”. As for Sunset; I wondered if girls can sympathize with it more easily. But because I feel both songs have become each other’s ‘answer song’, I feel people can sympathize with both songs.

“Because I also wrote the songs with the theme ‘father & daughter love’ in my mind, it’s not only about romantic love, but about family love and friendship as well. I wrote the songs to fit different kinds of love.
Though I didn’t create them this way from the start, I can’t imagine them as separate anymore; both songs respond to each other.”

Ayu said, “I want to take good care of my present self”. Music, fashion, love; everything concerning Ayu is the present.
Everything continues to move forward and continues to change ---.

polka-dot-jewel 20th July 2009 07:14 PM

You're right; like you said, Sunset was written based on Daddy Dandy?, but I doubt it'll be used in the dorama. It'll just happen to be based on it as well.

aura~ 20th July 2009 07:21 PM

^
^wow I love how she explains all the concept of the single and also of her new style/tour this year... now I think I understand more the lyrics of rollin'...

So it's like... after doing Sunrise... she decided tot turn it into a ballad... so it's based in the same melody, diffrent lyrics and different arrangement (I think it doesn't mean is a different person who makes it, but it can be of course...)

thanks for tranlsation!

aqua_crystal 20th July 2009 07:56 PM
